PS3 comeback

The PS3 will be okay, it has a strong first party, unfortunately for Sony, they have lost exclusives and will never regain them. The only exclusives they will get from now on are "Things from Japan" and "Things made by Sony". Whereas X-box has many companies in its pocket at the moment.
Little big planet doesn't appeal to me, it has no direction its very much me playing with myself, making myself have fun, i'm more into stories and action, Resistance 2 is a generic shooter so thats missable.
So far, the only thing the ps3 has for me is MGS4... and even that i feel i can miss, the story seems to have gone ape s*** crazy and i'm not sure i could be bothered with it.
I'm sure sales will increase, it has the ps2 on its side, mothers will buy playstation since their children enjoyed the last one so much, now all my ps2 friends have xbox 360's so there's no real reason to get one in my circle and if this is happening in other circles, surely word of mouth will work against the ps3, i have 1 crazy tekken friend who sold his ps3 when he heard it was coming to the 360.
Your statement about the 360 having no exclusives isn't true, and if it was true would it matter? if you can play the game for cheaper on the 360 would you? and would you have a better experience when it comes to online? probably.
The 360 remains easier to develop for since its basically a pc and i believe this will lean more exclusives to the 360, we've already seen this trend forming and i see no end.
I'm sorry this turned abit fanboy but its going to eventually, the ps3 sales will increase, but it can't make it up now.

Actually , now more and more game are being developed for PS3 , then ported to the 360. Now that they know how to program for the cell , it is MUCH easier for devs to have the PS3 version as the lead version. So from now on PS3 version of multi-paltform games will be either exactly the same or better on the PS3 . As for the online , well , on the PS3 it for free .EnzoHonda said:
I don't think that's neither Sony's nor Nintendo's intention. The Wii was never mention to directly compete with the Xbox 360 or PS3. It was marketed to suck up all the outside sales, and only then did they realize how BIG that fringe (outside of the core game players) market was. I know a lot of people who own both a Wii and a PS3/Xbox 360 for that very reason. You buy a Wii for Wii-specific games and a PS3/Xbox for the rest.
Are you all seriously trying to predict the future based on games the PS3 MIGHT have next year? Like, y'know, we've been doing every year since it came out? "Okay, buy NEXT year, the PS3 will have this killer ap that blahblahblahblahblah"
Exclusives and Killer App's do not sell consoles. MANY games sell consoles. When the PS3 has a larger library then the 360 we can talk.

"From now on"? Are you sure? Because people were saying the same thing last year and devs are still using the 360 as the lead console. If you could name a few titles that are being developed with the PS3 as the lead and then ported to the 360 it would bolster your claim.Phantom2595 said:
Final Fantasy XIII started life as a PS3 exclusive, it's not like SquareEnix had much of a choice when picking their lead console for development. I believe the same goes for Mirror's Edge.
