I can't offer much advice, apart from MGS4.

My PS3 generally lies cold and alone on my loungeroom floor. Poor bastard. I am getting MGS4 tomorrow though, so that should guarantee 20 hours or so for my second playthrough.

No good games on PS3 (or 360) that you can't get on PC.

With a PS2, a Wii and a good PC you can play all the good game there are.
And are they asking about that? No. Is your comment at all useful, other than flamebait? No.

As for the OP, I've only had a PS3 for about two months, so I don't have that many games yet. But if you like JRPGs, I'd suggest Eternal Sonata. It's quirky and fun. LittleBigPlanet is good if you like platformers and things that are unabashedly cute.

Bioshock is available for the PS3, but the load times are insane, I'm not even kidding, so if you want Bioshock and have a decent PC, I'd recommend that over the PS3 version.

I haven't played it, since it's not out where I am, but it seems like inFAMOUS is turning out to be the big PS3 game this year, so you might want to look into that one as well.

Okay, while these have already been mentioned I feel they deserve another mention, for outstanding performance in the field of exellence.

Uncharted:Drake's fortune, this game doesn't do anything all that new, but it combines so many great gameplay elements so well. It Has a nice story with genuinely lovable characters, a great script and some fantastic acting. It might not reinvent the wheel, but it does what it does damn well.

Little Big Planet, this game should be on every PS3 owner's shelf, the ammount of things you can create is mind-boggling, you really are only limited by your imagination.
Yes the platforming itself is a little clunky at times, but the sheer scope of the level creator and the over-whelming charm of the design more than make up for it.

Killzone 2, this is a fairly standard FPS, it does most things strictly by the book, but it has a level of polish rarely seen. Not just in the graphics but the design, the set pieces and overall production. The gameplay has a lovely sense of weight to it, your character actually feels like he moves with a bit of mass.
It doesn't bring many new ideas to the FPS table, but it's an immersive, well designed shooter.

Armored Core 4 and Armored Core For Answer. yes, both are on the 360 too, but try them out anyway. They're the best mech games ever.

With no knowledge of your genres or games you've already played, here are a few games I enjoyed:

> Fallout 3
> Saints Row 2
> Call of Duty, Either World at War or Modern Warfare (get you to the online community quick)
> UFC: Undisputed
> Savage Moon (off the PSN)
> MotorStorm, Either the original or Pacific Rift.
> Resistance 1 & 2
> Dynasty Warriors 6 - shut up, the series is good! Plus empires is coming out soon.....*phones work for more shifts*

Exclusive games that you should buy right away - inFamous, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles, Warhawk and it's bundled expansions.

We'll leave it to you for choosing which multiplat games to get.

Then go download a metric shit ton of demos for all those amazing PSN games. I like more of those PSN games than these new 60 dollar games really. I'm the same way with XBLA.

Then open up a bank account and make a "God of War III savings account".

I will go ahead and assume that you have this hatred for the console market because mommy isn't willing to buy you more than the wii. I have a feeling you resent the fact that you can't touch a lot of the games you want, and thus resort to telling everyone that they are not good.

For the original poster I will agree with many of the above posters regarding which games to get. Personally I suggest Little big planet, MGS4, Killzone2, Flower, Pixlejunk eden, monster hunter (though it is a slightly slower pace than many similar games, as well as being difficult)

I am a PS3 user, and of my library of games, I'll list the ones I found to be MOST enjoyable (and you will find these names in the above too);

- MGS4; (Only if you're familure with MGS1 through 3)
- Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (Stay tuned for Uncharted 2)
- Heavenly Sword (Short, but oh-so amazing. Also, inexpensive now)
- The Darkness (A really underappriciated game with such a powerful comicbook anti-hero story)
- Prince of Persia (moving story, beautiful enviroments, rebooting the franchise)

I have more, but of my library, I recomend these the most.

If you get a couple, and find yourself with extra pennies, check out the PSN Store for these (and there should be demos of some if not all);

- Bionic Commando Rearmed (Remastered classic)
- Puzzle Quest
- Stardust HD (AMAZING FUN!)
- Dark Mist: Depths of Darkness (only available in the Hong Kong store. Tutorial it)

Infamous, just get it. If you like hack and slash and don't mind a hard though entirely beatable game get Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Ratchet and clank is really fun too.

Games to look out for:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (LOL three new characters and multiplayer.)
Tales of Vesperia (Played this on 360 was worth purchasing but I'm glad I held off since the PS3 version has been announced.)

inFamous, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, LittleBigPlanet, for starters.

PSN titles: NOBY NOBY BOY, Flower, flOw, Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty (Follow-up to Tools), and some very great PSOne Classics.
