Actually, if you are going to correct grammar, let's do it right. Since Microsoft is a company (note the singular, indefinite article "a"), the proper pronoun to use is the possessive form of it (i.e., its).

To answer the initial question: Since we don't know what Microsoft is going to be offering, it is difficult to say. If the rumors turn out to be true (always on internet requirement, inability to play used-games, and, though not mentioned, a continued display of commercials on the "desktop"), then I won't purchase the next Microsoft machine.
I don't really have an interest in the two Microsoft exclusives that I would NEED to get the next generation machine.
As it stands, the cost of the new machines, my backlog of current generation games and the rising cost of food/gas/electricity/etc. all indicate that I won't be buying any of the next generation machines any time soon.
