Hey, any games on either of the networks that offer more gameplay fun then you can find in a lot of retail games?

I've played quite a few, but games like Dead Nation remind me of Left for dead. I have more fun playing it then a lot of full retail games I've played.

So can you think of any others you've learnt to love more than many retail games?

Fatal Inertia EX springs to mind for PSN, Plants vs Zombies on XBL, can't think of anything for Wii.

I haven't gotten Braid yet, is that any good?

I know Fat princess is fun, but at times it gets a little repetitive :O

Screw the console stores, try Steam sometimes. (Cue some Steam-haters who have some un-justifiable hatred of Steam, or Valve in general). I haven't bought it yet, but I've been playing the demo for Magicka, a game where you combine eight different elements to cast powerful spells in a top-down Diable-esque co-op game. Plenty of the indie games that you can find are complete crap, but occasionally, you find a real gem like this, and it makes it all worth it.

I do love to big up Castle Crashers, it's one of my favourite games. So much to do, so much replay value.

Castle Crashers, I've played through it lots of times and it never gets old.

Also, not sure if it counts since it's a re-release, but Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie are on XBLA, and they're just as awesome as ever.

Castle Crashers, Shadow Complex, Shank, Braid, and Puzzle Quest are all fantastic.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game.

Even though I STILL say it should be called "Scott Pilgrim vs the Game"

What if Steam has genuinely nothing to offer me, combined with the fact the compy is on its way out and my unwillingness to sink much funds into a computer.

It's called having a different opinion. I'd tell you more about this wonderful concept, but I'm afraid that your mind might not be able to take it.

On topic: Puzzle Quest and Flower spring to mind. Puzzle Quest can be addictive as all hell, and Flower is just gorgeous.

Flower on PSN. It's not really a game, but I actually got teary eyed because of how beautiful it was.

I have a Mac with OS X. I can enjoy all of the 5 games on Steam that are for Macs.
