So, in the press conference earlier today at Sony's GDC conference, Sony finally announced details for Sony's VR system. As stated in the title, it will cost $399. I put the other prices there as well. Now, the VR device requires a PS4, a PS Camera, and at least 2 Dualshock controllers or PS Move controllers. None of these will come with the box.
A big thing to mention is the amount of developers ready for the system though. There are 230 developers on board with some of the bigger ones shown here:

So...what do you guys think? On one hand, it's the cheapest VR device being $100 cheaper than the next cheapest VR device. It also has the backing of many high-profile Japanese companies. On the other hand...it's a $399 peripheral that requires you to spend another $60 on another peripheral to use. I do hope this takes off, but the price point might follow other console peripherals.
