I like anything with attractive Asian females, which it had, so I like it. I am just the simple.

I say, I do believe that young Psy chappy is wearing Hammer pants. Highly peculiar what.
I'm glad I'm not the only person to notice that...

OT: Why do I have a feeling this song is taking the piss out of douchebags calling themselves gentlemen...

Even if it's not anywhere as popular has his other one, i'll still have to hear it a gazillion times against my will.
Heh, you should try being a high school music teacher. Now is possibly the worst time to be a music teacher in the history of the universe.

OT - not going to listen to it, comments seem to say all I need to know.

So...would someone explain to me what the fuck is with his pants? Seriously, that completely distracted me from the video. Is that what's coming into style now? I'm so confused as to why anyone would wear something like that.

Meh, I find that new song to be ok/ average. It's nowhere near catchy to the previous song let alone will be as popular as before but I probably be wrong about that.

Man...I wish Psy spoke English :(

He can speak English, he just doesn't sing in it.

OT: It's ok. I never really did love Gangnam Style (although that could be because all I heard for like 3 months was it), and this is not quite as good.

You may want to check out some actual girl-group K-Pop songs then. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofwFr8o8p0Y] We have those in spades.

It was okay, but I do not see this becoming nearly as popular as Gangnam Style.

I like K-pop (and PSY in general), so yeah, I liked this. :3

There were some definitely parallels in terms of his Gangnam Style and Gentleman videos, but I guess that's to be expected.

The song is kinda catchy, but it definitely doesn't have the same instant impact Gangnam Style had.

[small]I also wonder if PSY is irritated that people are going to be comparing Gentleman to Gangnam Style for the foreseeable future..[/small]

One-trick ponies tend to run into the problem fairly frequently :p

Eh, good luck to the guy I guess. I just wish there were more people talking about some of the amazing albums that have come out in the past couple of months as opposed to a guy ripping himself off badly.

Sorta back OT - I tend to think one-hit wonders are better off staying as one-hit wonders, sort of like retiring on top in sport, rather than putting it off and putting yourself through an extended public funeral.

On a positive note, if you're going to go out, you might as well go out in parachute pants.

Meh, wasn't that big a fan of Gangnam Style (I didn't hate it or anything, but I don't think it deserved the success it had), and this honestly just feels like PSY is trying to re-create the success of that. Maybe it's just that Gangnam Style was the first one to be famous, but whilst GS felt unique and relatively fresh (even if I didn't like it that much) this just feels like a GS wannabe. Can't blame the guy for it, and as pointed out a couple times above this just seems to be his thing, but what little I felt GS had going for it this no longer has.

I know I'm not the only one who heard "I'm a mother fucking gentleman." I'm wondering if that's what was actually being said.

Anywho, I had a lot of fun with this one.

I'm very glad that Psy actually made another song that was good. I was so afraid that he would churn out some garbage to try and top his previous songs fame. I will say that it sounds a little too much like Gangnam Style, but it makes me interested in what the rest of his music sounds like.

It sounds exactly like "Gangnam Style". Maybe I just don't have an ear cultured enough to be able to tell the difference between his songs, but I have a feeling all of his material sounds the same. Typical pop music.

I really liked it because it seems to be a completely different beast than Gangnam Style. The song has a slower pace and feel while the music video is even more ridiculous and hilarious than Gangnam Style. The dance is also nice because it is more controlled than Gangnam style and it fits well with the dialed back tempo as well.

Good, I'm not the only one who heard that. I don't care what the lyric videos say, he's a mother fuckin gentleman!
