Punished for being a victim

So, I got this idea from playing Bully. I was hanging around the football field, a jock grabbed me while another punched me, and I got my little naughty bar up saying "Violence". So basically I was being blamed for this when I was the victim.

I'm sorry, I didn't explain that perfectly, but my point is have you been punished for being a victim? I don't mean retaliating to something and then being punished, just having something happen to you and you're punished.

Yes, I had a citation made in my name for being involved in a fight that was one sided. That fight however involved me being bashed in the side of the head with a skateboard and me doing nothing.

I got a pen thrown at me once as a joke by a friend after which the teacher decided to give me a 2-day detention for mucking around in maths. It was kinda lame...

Oh yes, several of my school experiences match that description. Essentially, I was a slightly taller/stockier kid for my age and others would pick fights with me to "prove their worth" (at least it seemed that way), but the thing is, I would usually win the fight, leaving them crying and me in adrenalin mode. In nearly all cases the teacher(s) would arrive too late and only witness me winning, thus assuming I was the aggressor and punish me accordingly (often letting the other kid go without any consequence). The worst part is, they would make it seem like I could tell "my side" but would only respond to the end of my account with questions like, "Why do you lie to us."

Long story short, I attained the title of a "bully" without ever intending harm or maliciously plotting anything, I just defended myself and simply couldn't win... >__<

My brother got in a fight after a kid slapped him for being bumped into.
My brother broke the kid's nose against a locker, and then proceeded to choke him out until pulled off by a teacher.
While he fought back, the other kid didn't get in any trouble, while my brother got a suspension.

It was a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, in the 3rd grade, but i'm sure that if my balls had dropped before that happened i would have made him pay. I'm really big on punishment.

This one isn't "Violence" related so I don't know if this counts:

There are 4 Thomas' in my biology class and my teacher is not good with names and faces. He gets the Toms mixed up a lot. We all had to take a test and I got one of the highest marks. The teacher took the tests and said I had to come in for a retest. One of the Toms got one of the lowest marks and he thought it was me. When I tried to say I was not that Tom I was put into a longer detention. When he realised I was not the Tom with the low marks he didn't even apologise.

Clearly you provoked said jock, because we all know that anybody with the highly prized skill of playing sports is never the aggressor in any incident of violence. And all fights are started by weak pathetic students who are unjustly jealous and angry over the fact that god refused to grant them the athleticism need to play said sports, so they therefor take that rage out on their all around betters.
