Mass Effect.

Boring. Just so boring. Couldn't bring myself to play beyond the first level.
Understandable. I was in the exact same predicament when I bought it.

I have it on both Xbox & Pc, but give it a try. Force yourself to play it, it's well worth it in the end. It's a great game.

The Force Unleashed, I know someone will probably yell at me because they thought the game was great, but I didn't like it.

The Blackberry Storm when it first came out. Christ, the thing so many bugs that it became useless in 2 months. Can't get a new phone for awhile because I'm waiting for an upgrade...

Arma 2. I mean that POS was unplayable. Too many bugs to count, controls didn't work half the time and the enemy was ridiculously strong (also the models were terrible). I actually made a special category for that game: POS.

Mass Effect.

I wanted "game x" I got "game y".

Didn't care for it in terms of gameplay, story, characters or anything else important.

Plenty of people got moist over it. I didn't. Just not the game for me.

Trollie McTroll troll
No, they were actually really boring. The gameplay itself. Mass effect and DA:O had wonderful storylines (from what I've heard), but the gameplay, although good, was just far too repetitive in DA:O's case, and just not satisfying in Mass Effect's. It seems like it should have been fun, and I can't figure out why I didn't find it so. This is my opinion, obviously :p

OT: No doubt there've been a myriad of snacks I've bought through the years that I clearly did not want in the least, but hell! If I have money!
As for games? Guitar hero 3 - I played the first many years ago with friends and LOVED it :D I figured I'd be able to relive the experience. The game itself wasn't all bad, but because of the expectations, it crushed my dreams and I was left distraught.
yeah sorry about the trollie mctroll troll thing. its just the games you listed are also the games that alot of people say are the best games ever. a very troll like thing to do. but it looks like your not a troll :)

my biggest issue with mass effect was that whole dam planet searching thing to get resources which determined the ending you got etc. it was just boring trying to get enough for the upgrades.
The planet resources mini game you described was ME2 my good man. Just thought I should point that out.

OT: keys in tf2, and an indie pack on steam (i like indie games and i figured hey its just 4 buck, they were all terrible flash games ):, and Bad Company 2 i hated it was absolutely no fun.

garry's mod on steam. When I was about to buy it I thought HEY making stuff with other people that sounds fun! it was for about a day. Then I found the mods and I found that I had to buy counter strike to be able to look at the freaking floor.

One time when I was 7 I had $5 in pocket money and bought a can of silly string for $3.50. I remember taking it back 2 minutes later because I didn't really want it - I was paying for the idea of silly string, and the having was not as good as the wanting. I think I later used my $5 to buy some rubber ninja figurines which you could trow at the wall and they would "climb" down by flipping from end to end by aid of some sticky gel on their hands and feet. I was quite satisfied with my decision.

Oddly, it seems to happen to me a lot. A few years back I really wanted a set of proper poker chips. I looked high and low, never able to find any. I eventually found a shop that sold them and paid almost $50 for a set of 200 chips in a carry case along with two decks of cards and some dice.

A week later it seemed my desire for poker chips had been answered by the retail gods and suddenly I couldn't walk into a store without seeing poker chip sets for sale, or being offered as a gift for buying something else.
Of course these sets were all considerably cheaper than what I paid for mine. Had I just waited another week I could have gotten more chips for less money.

To date, I am yet to play a single hand of poker with my chips.

Red dead? Why?

OT: Mortal Kombat II for the PSN never caught on with my friends and I never play it alone.

Fallout 3.

It was technically a birthday present and after playing for an hour I immediately realized I hated the setting and atmosphere :( (Welcome, Wastelander, to the world of INFINITE GRAYS AND BROWNS!!)

Felt so bad for making my parents buy me it.
