Yes. Clearly with this many incidents the show must be cursed or haunted (by the ghost of Tobey Maguire's acting talent) and we shouldn't tempt fate any longer. Abandon all hope mortals, only monsters be here!

This show just has "The next Carrie: The Musical" written all over it, and this is from someone who doesn't even see too many plays.

Bad idea (Spider-Man the musical? Because the demographics that love angsting superheroes and love broadway musicals surely go hand in hand), check. Weird Behind the Scenes choices (Introducing new villains, having members of U2 write the music, since U2 fans also fit squarely into both demographics), check. Over extravagance to the point of hilarity (The fuck are they wearing? Mary Jane Watson has more dresses on at once than Marie Goddamn Antoinette did her entire life!), check. And, as an added bonus, prop and set failures to the point of injury to the crew, check.

Honestly, who would invest in this thing and expect to get any return on their investment. Unless this is a "The Producers" type scam involved, there's no way anyone will make money off of this.

They'd have to do a complete reimagning.
Good musicals are few and far between.

Repo!
Buffy's was... bearable and had a few gems for songs.

You know how you should never mix vinegar with red bull? It's kind of like that.

I've only ever heard about the production through the escapist. The play's premise sounds real cheeeeezy though. I'd like to see the interwebs put up funny vids parodying it.
