My mother had a brain aneurism and has no short term memory so she will forget about it in 5 minutes but she probably wouldn't care about it anyway.

The Imp said:
After watching the behind-the-scenes clip i say this so called "experiment" is bullshit. To sit a somewhat old lady in front of three 42"+ screens with dolby surround in a darkened room can hardly be called a fair test enviorment. This is just cheap PR and won't help in the ever present debate about violence in video games.
Course not, it's just a goodhearted joke. It's not like this is the only DS2 trailer, anyway. They have tons more trailers up on the webz so the REAL gamers (not their moms) can get a glimpse as well.

I got my mom a George Benson CD for christmas.
If I got her a copy of this game she would go "im 49 years old and what is this".

She wouldn't like it, and neither would i. I'm not really into Horror, in any media, nor am i a big fps fan.

On the other hand, videogames is the only media where i think i might try out a few really good horrors (i enjoy Bioshock, though the horror still gets to me sometimes)

Bambi is too much for my mum, infact she constantly says, how can you play this? Before quickly waddling out of the room. (not to bambi but horror games, or anything involving killing) however she's doesn't try to restrict the mature content in games after i got her to get me god of war 2. I think i was 14 then. The thing is i had played the first when i was 11, (got it from my aunt, somehow).

My mom would disprove, but she isn't an idiot. She knows horror games don't turn you into a nut job killer anymore that a scary movie would.

I do not know, and I do not care how my mother would respond to this game.

Haven't seen her in years.

Should I interpet this as that they hate me and want to punish my mom for creating me?

I'm assuming she wouldn't like it very much. Then again anytime she sees me playing any type of game, I get the same disappointing derogatory response =( "I'm not a kid anymore, why am I playing kids games?"

I don't think she'd like the game itself but she'd probably find a little twisted delight in all the over the top carnage.

I believe that my gaming has desensitized my mother enough that she really wouldn't care.

Mortals could not fathom the immensity of the fuck my mum would not give.

It's a game, games bore her, move on.

It wouldn't scare her, if that's what you're getting at. She's the kind of person that if Freddy Krueger sneaked into her dreams, she would punch him the fuck out.

My mum's a tank and a half.

*proud*

If I sat my mum down in front of Dead Space 2, she'd look at me like she was a perturbed camel with a stick up its arse.

It's quite a scary thought, actually.
