Big Ben. Because it's the only wonder that's just a bell. (But you get St. Stephen's Tower for free). And because city states always desire Big Ben.[footnote] Everyone desires Big Ben [/footnote]

I like Stonehenge, mostly because it keeps building itself underwater, which gives it even more mystery.
I was amazed when I saw my Russian peasants reclaiming a stone circle from the South China Sea.

The Pyramids! I mean, it's one of the first wonders, and when you build it, you know you just pissed off 6 other people.

The Pyramids- It's useful to any Civ, it means you can drastically increase your land's productivity by speeding up improvement construction.
I'm quite new to the Civ series so could you tell me how much workers would be best to have? I've only built workers so far if I don't have any other seemingly useful stuff to build.
Build anything you can on every tile you can, there are no downsides to it. Genrally what the game recomends is the best option.

I dont agree with that. When the game starts to recommend building woodcutter places on hills, then you know it is wrong. They dont provide as much production and are therefore worthless on hill tiles in my opinion. Yet for some reason, my forest-hills seem to be clogged up with them.

I like the the pyramids because I general only makes 4 cities tops and I manage all my works myself, because otherwise they always replace everything with trade posts.

there's no "I don't play Civilization" option? What? There's more or less allways a "I don't play *game*" option on the other polls... =/
Then you don't need to post here... It should be obvious that polls involving playing a game, like this, are for those who play the game.

OT; pyramids, sooner the land improves the quicker the city grows and quicker it produces buildings/units.

I liked The Cure For Cancer in Civ2.
They need to add Brooklyn Bridge. Immense boost to productivity, ferry companies lose money.

Great Library, Oxford University and every other which gives you a great scientist.

Yeah, I like to outrun my opp by at least two eras. It's so much fun, when you see your basic ancient warriors upgraded into infantry when the enemy still uses longswordsmen.

I voted Sistine Chapel because I just built it a few hours ago for my one-city cultural victory strategy, but Forbidden Palace is awesome for conquerors.

Probably Machu Pichu - It just looks so damn cool! I would say the Pyramids (especially since I had a coastal capital and they ended up being built on a pontoon...) but in that neat little 'Congratulations! You just built X' screen that pops up they used a quote from an Egyptian text - translated by Budge. BUDGE. to anyone in the Egyptological community, this is a total crime. I mean, come on, Bugde? seriously? =S

Stonehenge, quick and dirty way to get culture.
Yeah, pretty much this. I always go for Stonehenge first. I've been cockblocked in my attempts to build Pyramids too many times in past Civ games so I tend to shoot for Stonehenge first.

I'm... not very good.
