X-Men the last stand. The bullshit they pulled to try to tie in the 'dark phoenix'. It's an alien. Just use the source material for fuck's sake. This bipolar, my other half is psychotic crap is so... lame :/.

X-Men The Last Stand. But I'd make sure they manage to somehow keep THIS.

But as for changes:
1: I would NOT kill half the cast.
2:I'd also change the villain. Maybe make Magneto team up once again with them to fight... oh, I don't know...

3: I'd hint at Apocalypse for 4, maning there could ACTUALLY BE A 4!
4: No Dark Pheonix. At least not yet.
I joygasm'd at the thought of Mr Sinister. Oh, happy day! <3 to all your ideas.

Spider Man 3, specifically. Spider-Man was a fantastic intro, and Spider-Man 2 was one of the best superhero movies ever made. My ideas:

1. No Sandman! (Hayden Church gave a wonderful performance, but his character was unnecessary and took time away from the completion of the Green Goblin arc, and the movie's main villain, Venom)

2. Make Peter Parker suave rather than emo! (like The Nutty Professor, specifically the original Jerry Lewis version) Peter needs to show that he's a dick, but not make an idiot out of himself. He should be the stereotypical "player", which is a complete 180 to his normal self)

3. More Venom! (He's the guy we came to see, and we shouldn't have been disappointed. This would have been the better role for Hayden Church, as he has the right build for Venom. The final showdown would have been much cooler, since both Spidey and Venom are similar to each other in power, but with specific physical differences)

4. DON'T RETCON UNCLE BEN'S DEATH! (If Uncle Ben was killed because of Sandman being spooked, rather than being shot by the first killer, then it technically isn't Peter's fault that his uncle was killed, taking away his motivation for being a hero. You wouldn't change Batman's history so that his parents die in a car crash, so why change Spiderman's back story?

Specifically, I'd like to alter Star Wars Episode 1.

I'd age Anakin and do my best to make him a badass that people root for instead of a whiny *****, cut the midiclorians and chosen one references, and begin the romance storyline.

By fundamentally altering Episode 1, it becomes necessary to alter Episodes 2 & 3 as well. Count Dooku brought nothing to the story so his character can be cut entirely and replaced with Grievous. General Grievous should be the reanimated husk of Darth Maul and have prototype cyborg mechanisms that would be perfected with Vader. Chewbacca and should be removed from the prequel trilogy. Jango and Boba Fett should not be seen unmasked in order to preserve their species/origin/intrigue.
OMG, you just stated the exact same thoughts I've had for years, right down to the reanimated Darth Maul...well done

Terminator Salvation was in need of a major rewrite;
I'd like to actually see John Connor as the badass rebel leader that we've been hearing about since day 1. And none of the crap with that Marcus guy, also I certainly wouldn't humanize Skynet like they did in the movie, I would keep it a cold, logical, and completely inhuman entity. I'd also like to ramp up the action a bit more, but also do more characterization of the people. A hard R rating is an absolute must, and I think it would be cool to get a more in-depth look at the post-apocalyptic world. Plus I'd go with a mixture of the canon from the first two movies, and keep to a "you can't change the future" theme.
Basically all I'd keep would be the appearance of the Arnie Terminator.

I voted for Xmen the last stand. They should have done one complete story rather than two stories pasted together in a very half-assed manner.

also The Fantastic Four sequel could have been so much better too. You spend the whole movie waiting for Galactus just to find it is some damned cloud. I had hoped it would have ended with Galactus looking all awesome and basically teasing the viewer with a third movie featuring Galactus as the enemy.

The Last Stand. Juggernaut is a great and interesting villain. In the canon he's Xavier's half-brother and if they'd put that in then the film could have been so much deeper
Cyclops' death is also terrible
and they put way too much focus on Wolverine

I'd change Avatar, probably by cutting most of the stuff after Hometree burned or either making it end up with the Na'vi losing. Not that I'm not on their side, mind, I just think it would have given the movie some actual power rather than just being a special-effects party.

The War of the Worlds, without a doubt, every time.

For a start I would:

- Get rid of Tom Cruise
- Get rid of everyone else because they're all pointless as far as the story goes
- Follow the story of the actual book, be in the right country and set in the right time period
- Sack Stephen Spielberg and put Jeff Wayne in charge
- Slap Dakota Fanning just for good measure

Failing this, I would go back in time and make sure that this atrocious film was never made!

Contact.

When I first saw it I was semi-bored untill the Hitler reveal. I then for some glorious seconds thought it would be about space nazis vying for world domination, this should have been the case.

Either X men or the Star Wars prequels.

Frankly, after spidey 3 and xmen 3 came out I was really burned out on superhero movies for a while, but I never tire of the original star wars movies. I'd like to see the original prequels re-done, with a better script, new cast, different director. George can be executive producer, but that's it.

On Hayden Christiansen the amazingly bland in star wars he was pretty good in shattered glass if anyones seen that...

Of the films on this list they are all ok nothing bad but not spectacularly good.

Films I would change are all m. night shayamalan films except 6th sense and unbreakable and signs to be purged with fire, especially the village hate that film so much the twist at the end was retarded and felt so much like... gah it just annoyed the crap out of me watching it
