And concerning the adoption, I've heard arguments that we should wait that gays are more accepted, because the adopted child might be bullied for it.

I think that this argument doesn't work so well: will the society ever accept children who are adopted by gays if there are none? I believe that there have to be precedents if we want the change to happen quickly.

But it's just my opinion.

1. What is your gender? (Male/Female)
Male

2. Gay marriage should be legalized. (Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Disagree, Strongly Disagree)
As long as it isn't in a christian church it's a-ok. The marriage in a church is supposed to unite a man and woman in holy matrimony and all that... not two men/two women. I guess "Disagree" would be the option I'd go with, though it's perfectly fine if they get married in city hall or something.

3. Gay couples should be able to adopt children. (Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Disagree, Strongly Disagree)
I'm neutral to this. Whether or not they should be able to adopt children shouldn't have anything to do with sexuality, but rather if they can support the adopted kid(s), both emotionally and financially.

Oh, and I don't live in the U.S.

Oh, yeah. I think marriage shouldn't be a legal contract and shouldn't have anything to do with the government or, God forbid, people getting to vote on it. I have a friend that is devoted to stay single his whole life and he hates all the tax breaks and incentives that people get when they marry.

Little too complicated for a two word answer, I believe that the government should allow for gay marriage and give a gay married couple the same rights as a heterosexual couple, however, I think religions should have the power to be as accepting or unaccepting of this as fits their belief. (This doesnt mean I think being gay is a sin or anything, I just think a religion should have the right to set out their beliefs and practices, regardless of what the government or rest of the population believe)
Strongly agree

lol that was a curveball.

May I ask why you disagree with gay marriage? It's interesting to see a reply like this and I'd love to see some light shed on your opinions.

I reckon you're right on with your answers, and every religion does have their rights to agree or disagree with these sorts of things, but I feel that whilst religions can have their "do's and do not's" as far as community rules are concerned, they should have no bearing over politics in any way.
I'm not religious personally and I don't think religion should have a bearing on what I do with my life.
