Legend of zelda Twilight princess, (this is only due to me being a retard, and it was my first wii game) I have real difficulty jumping off stuff then catching onto ledges and climbing up. I even started screaming at this one ledge I was so pissed off, I do suck at the wiii but those mechanics are not nicley put together.

Oh yeah and ME3's ending

Final boss of Dead Space 2. Went in without enough ammo/health and didn't have a save I could easily go back to where those would be easy to find. Every failure triggered a long-ass cutscene where deadbitch grabs you and, like, shoops dah woop in your face and you commit suicide.

Or something.

Basically it sucked.

Another possible contender is.... pretty much every 30 seconds in Fallout New Vegas. God damn. I love that game and all, but holy shit I wanted to punch kittens at it some times.

>>Try to talk to someone in casino.
>>Accidentally steal ashtray.
>>Have to slaughter everyone.

Edit: NOPE! CHUCK TESTA!

Just remembered: Dead Island wins this contests forever. I dumped a bunch of time into it basically the moment it came out, but then there was an update or something and... POOOF! Bye bye savegames. Steam had logged about 4 hours in the game but I think it had been longer. Anyways I rage quit that game so hard that, after about half an hour flirting with the idea of starting over, I put the game down and never went back. I rage quit the *SHIT* out of that game.

The yeti boxing fight in Spyro 3. I wanted a nice relaxing nostalgia trip, but no.

Oh,and my general state of being when I played MW2.

Oh god... I nearly broke my hand after I punched a wall doing that S license test in the Toyota One on GT3 with no TCS or ABS. Polyphony Digital you sadistic bastards.

You can probably guess the rest.
I rage quite often, but because I already knew before buying how rage-inducing Dark Souls could be, I actually forced myself to calm down whenever playing them, because I knew that getting angry would just ruin the experience for me. Probably a healthy decision, though it did force me to take frequent breaks.

I don't remember if it was my maddest but it was the last time I got really made because the consequence made me realize how silly losing my temper over a game is.

Red Faction II. It was either the last boss or close to it. I had him dead in one more shot and the cheating bastage hit me through the wall with a rail gun. I was so mad I repeatedly punched my pillow until my wrist started to hurt. I punched a PILLOW and hurt my wrist.

The Boss in MGS3 on Normal.
I had to restart the game on easy to find out you could shoot her with the shotgun from long distance inbetween the time she spots you and the time she opens fire.
Having typed that last sentence, I feel extremely stupid.

In Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix (yeah, I know, it's quite a mouth full) certain races are required to proceed with the story. Of course, these races are always the longest tracks and you have to go round them a thousand times. Here's where my rage came in: I had to do that race for the billionth time, cause I kept crashing and hurling myself into hedges and other roadusers not paying attention to my incoming '69 Charger, and I was in a solid lead, then, on the final straight, some other guy comes riding in, gives me a nudge that wouldn't even make a falling feather change direction, I spiral out of control ten feet from the finish line, seeing first, second and third place being taken right from me. I was so pissed I threw the controller away and it broke clean in half. Did cost me 20 bucks.

By a huge margin, the most angry I've ever been at a game was Okami. Don't fall for people saying what an underrated classic it is. It's a goddamn broken, barely playable mess. And then you get to the required digging minigame. You have a very strict time limit. Make only a few mistakes and you have failed. And you will absolutely make more than the regulation number of mistakes because the game's "Celestial Brush" mechanic is a poorly programmed piece of shit that can't tell all the circle based shapes apart. Holy hell, I have never raged so hard before and I haven't raged so hard since. I even put the game away for a few weeks and then came back to it, and within minutes I was raging again.

Sold that piece of shit soon after, and I haven't looked back except to warn other people about how broken the game is in the face of a bunch of liars telling them how great it is. It's really not. Games are an interactive medium, and when you can't properly do that, they have completely failed. I would rank Okami lower than ET for Atari 2600, Big Rigs Over the Road Racing, and all the other infamously bad games out there. Don't play (rather, don't attempt to play, because actually playing this broken slop is impossible) Okami.

The last few fights in DOA4, as much as I love that game, are infuriating sometimes. I don't often rage, but when I don't land a single hit because the AI kills me in one long combo which continues long after I'm dead, I feel like breaking something.

Or the last boss in SF4. Didn't even beat him once. Got up that far, finally, lost probably a dozen times, then put down the game and happily returned the rental.

Or that Time Trial mode in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Sweet Jesus that is difficult! My record is the third round. THIRD BLOODY ROUND and several dozen failed attempts.

You know what, lets just say fighting games in general. Love them, but sometimes I wish the AI were a real person so I could stab it in the face.

The last game to get me genuinely controller breaking frustrated and/or angry was probably Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the PS2. It's a little vague now having gone into a blood rage at the time this occurred but I remember something about having to chase some motherfuckers down while riding a motorcycle and shooting at them all the while working on a very strict timer. I think I had to replace two controllers before I stopped playing that game.

The good news is that it turned out that this lesson in destruction was good preparation when several years later I played Mirrors Edge and spent a lot of time dying because I, apparently, can't hold a controller still enough for the motion sensor not to have my character lose her balance and splatter death repeatedly. Blood pressure significantly elevated during these sequences but nary a controller got pitched.

Zelda.

First 3 hours of Spirit Tracks, first 5 hours of Skyward Sword. Constant NPC nagging. If you are of the age group or mental capacity that requires that much instruction, then you can't fucking read it to begin with.

"Oh really, you want me to follow that small furry thing? Well let's see... the path I'm on has two directions: the way that thing went, and the way I came from... I don't know what to do!!! If only I had some kind of side-kick to point me in the right direction, or at least flip a coin for me..."

Quit both games before they had even started.

Congratulations for screwing up the best thing you had going, Nintendo.

well I have been playing Devil Survivor 2 this week so I've had a good bit of rage. Some bosses have insane range, more turns then you, and the ability to wipe a unit in one hit. I actually got stuck in a loop where a boss would be at turn 3 after his attack and his four helpers would pass, meaning I got no turns and could only watch as he wiped my party.

I beat him later, and it felt good.

I really don't want to go with the obvious Mass Effect 3 choice....I'm sure given enough time I could come up with something else.

However, the most relevant game to me at the moment is Mass Effect so...yeah. It's really not that much about the ending anyway but the whole game in general. It feels so rushed and non-rpg'y. Removing the neutral choice in the dialogue, having less dialogue, less characters, less interesting characters, it just goes on and on. The way Origin treats its customers (banning you for modding single-player)is so frustrating because now I can't even try to fix some of the problems myself.

Screw you EA.

Any game where the AI is clearly a cheating bastard. And if I can see it clip/ignore damage or something I have to beat it humiliatingly.
