Maybe this is just me, but is rapping killing everything lately? It seems like everything is subject to a remix. Can't people just enjoy the old music?

WHY!? WHYWHYWHY!?

Oh lord.. And I like the Final Fantasy series. Fuck you, rap bastards. >.>;;

...Actually.. Not gonna lie, all of the.. "songs" make my ears want to explode, except one.

Jay-Z Lucifer/Mako Reactor.. It oddly sounds.. Kinda well-timed/synced. The others are absolute TORTURE.

Holy crap that's awesome! I hate rap and I dislike most remixes but this is just freaking insane! Here's hoping that the rest of the songs on this album are just as good or better.

Holy hell, we know not everyone likes rap but you guys don't have to exaggerate your dislike of it so much.

Maybe I'm biased since I'm one of those awkward mutants that actually likes rap music and, as such, picked Ocarina of Rhyme a few months ago (I prefer mostly underground, with very select mainstream... and Criss Chords [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zanz3YskIhI] is awesome), but this is not as bad as some of you say it is.

I'd get this myself if I actually cared for Final Fantasy music. But alas, I do not so I'll pass, even with M.O.P. and Jay-Z featured in it.

Oh my dark and uncaring gods, Funk! How could you? How could you subject humans to such horror? Rap and FF Music, have we no genre or style that can be free of hip-hop's horrid taint?
Personally I think it's quite funny, both in that they did it, and in how much the two songs have in common on a rythm (I don't know how to spell that word) basis. Also, and this just may be my post FFVII generation apathy talking, but is the music of Final Fantasy 7 really that grand that we should categorize it a tragedy if it's music is used in a parodious manner (I'm pretty sure I just made that word up). I mean I could understand if someone got irritated by someone doing something similar with a song like "All Along the Watchtower", as that is a genuine peice of musical history whereas anything that consists solely of computerized beeps and boops really isn't. :\

Not that I ever could but:

[HEADING=2]I don't think I'll ever be able to take rap seriously ever again![/HEADING]

Not after the Kirby - Snoop Dogg remix, not after the Ghostbusters - DMX remix, and especially not after these two albums.

I LOVE the Tom Waits track.
Is he a gamer?
I can picture him getting down in Infamous.

This is much much better than what the TC subjected us to. Placing Rap music over other music does not make it magically better, especially when they clash so badly.

Haha! These are awesome! I'm downloading them both now to the sound of No Hook(Meeting The Owl) from Ocarina of Rhyme. I'd never have guessed these songs would dub so well over game tracks.

I'm not particularly a fan of rap or hip-hop but this stuff is great! It is really well produced but still makes you laugh inside with the knowledge of the original melodies!

Plus, any artist that offers their work for 'you name your price' deserves big respect! And a price! Come on chaps, I know it might be free, but give them some money and maybe the whole of the music industry will learn!

Thanks for the heads up!

Well as fun as a all this rap bashing is... /sarcasm.

Anyway, as cool as it is, I find I'm not a big fan of Team Teamwork. And I prefer Sleaze's Ocarina of Rhyme to theirs, and anyone who enjoyed TT's should definitely try to find Sleaze. His beats are better, and he does his own songs to them.

Why would someone want to kill FF7 like that.
Now I will never be able to listen to the battle music again.

Couldn't they have done FF8 instead.I could live with that.
