Objects can go faster than the speed of light. Science only dictates that somethind cannot accelerate faster than the speed of light.
But to reach that velocity, one must accelerate in the first place, unless the object in question was going faster than light to begin with, like at creation.

The longest Opera is Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung) by Richard Wagner. It clocks in at 18 hours including the intermission.
I've read it in graphic novel form and even that was huge.

Computers mimic the human brain only on a basic level; they both record, encode, and store information. Science is unable to tell us how or where the human brain stores information.

EDIT: I misspelled friggin' computers...

Hypnotism is only putting the human mind into a highly relaxed state at which it is very open to suggestion. The brain will only follow these suggestions if it finds they are appreopriate or 'good'. In a hypnotized stat, you are unlikely to kill yourself at someones request unless you are/were suicidal in the first place.

Tachyons, apparently, do this. In theory anyway.

Are you serious? California just became a lot cooler, and stranger, in my opinion.

Seriously? Wow.

Dude.

How did that come about?

I'm gonna go look that up.

Did you know that sodomy is any form of sexual penetration not for procreational purposes?
Note: That was the most general definition I ever found, though some tend to get really specific...)

Could you (or someone) tell me where you got that information, or atleast the name of the town or something, because I couldn't find it in a search. Unless you were lieing.

There is no law that makes blowing up a nuclear bomb a crime. This is because everyone figured that no one would actually be stupid enough to detonate one.

The blue whale is so huge that a child could crawl through it's aorta with room to spare.

This is now one of my top favorite threads of all time.......I'm gonna dredge up some really fun facts in the next few days..........And glass is not a liquid, although it is an amorphous solid, just like cotton candy and polystyrene.

Once, entire Netherlands was condemned to death by The Spanish Inquisition for hearsay.
To make it clear, around those times that where 13 million people.

Also, the order was given roughly 10 miles from my home.

And Cor, there is, seeing that that is considered terrorism, I think it is illegal.

True, but I think it might have been referring to just blowing one up in a stockpile. Of course, it was a while back that I saw this law, so i might've been (slightly) mistaken.

I've also heard that in Colorado, it's illegal to throw a missile at a car. Not shoot a missile at a car, throw a missile with your bare hands at a car.

Although there are stipulations by the UN regarding Disturbing World Order and/or Peace.

Our local star Sol's gravity affects a volume in the shape of a sphere 4 lightyears in radius.

The Chernobyl Inncident was not a Nuclear Melt-Down, but a cooling system failure that resulted in a Steam explosion blowing the reactor core open. Additionally, none of the nuclear fallout was Uranium. Uranium is the fuel in Reactors, and decays into other hazardous isotopes of other elements, such as Krypton, Heavy Iodine, Potassium, Bismuth & Antimony. Currently the most present radioisotope in the Zone of Alienation is Cesium-137.
