It just snowed where I live.
It's been fun just throwing snowballs :)
It's been sunny all day, Stop stealing my snow D:

OT: I'm studying for exams. I thought it would be a good idea to drink lots of energy drinks to help me to study and now I'm rather hyper. I haven't been able to see properly all day.

Finally got round to getting a Soundcloud account. Started uploading some of my musical creations yesterday.

Aside from that, not much going on. On holiday after finishing my exams, so I'm just living what CL Smooth would describe as the 'good life,' without the lounging by the pool or the sun tan.

Went to a coffee house on an open mic night and did a 15 minute comedy routine. Did quite well despite it being my first time. Got some pretty good laughs and I swear one middle-aged woman is still trying to figure out how to make my "triple middle finger".

And, not surprisingly, most women there cheered when I said "those who inherit and carry the Y chromosome are the scourge of the fucking universe". Dunno why, honestly. [/sarcasm]

Looking forward to the nest time I get up on the stage. ^.^

I got given a pack of free chocolate biscuits for waving the most frantically for them.

They were worth it.

First gig's an amazing feeling. If I can offer one piece of advice, never perform at a music gig unless you're the opening act. If you're on later in the night people will already be drunk and in no mood to sit there and listen to you.
In a weird coincidence, there was supposed to be a local 3 person band before me and before that, there was a female poet roughly the same age as me. The woman went and did her thing which was only about 5 minutes. She was OK - definitely put thought into her material, I could see that. The band's bass player told me to go ahead of them because his guitar was having some kind of adjustment issue. So, I got to go before them.

Was only a crowd of maybe 30ish people, but I tell ya...after that first 30 seconds of nervous energy release I felt like I was in another world. Just primed and ready to roll. All of the performers had 15 minute blocks and I took roughly 16 - the band didn't mind, gave them time to fix what was wrong and gave me enough time to finish my act.

Captcha: giddy goat. You know, Captcha...you're becomingly eerily proficient at giving good thread and/or post related phrases.

Well, yesterday I got fired from the only real job I ever had due to them hiring too many people (worked there for a total of three days). At least that's what they told me (my guess is, they found out I was thrown into a psych ward for 2 1/2 weeks). And today I got two brand new shiny pennies.

Well shit, I got nothing better than that. I'm just a sad sack of shit here.

Random News Update For Me:

Just started up my speed/suicide run at ME 2. Going to just blaze right on through the story and ensure that NO ONE survives the suicide mission. This way I can experience ME 3 with not only Shepard dead, but all the other characters that had major roles.

Mordin's gonna be dead (and Maelon's research will go uninterrupted).
Miranda's gonna be dead (and her sister will go unrescued).
Garrus' is gonna be dead.
Tali's gonna be dead (and her issues with the fleet will go unresolved).
Haven't decided if I'm gonna get Legion and make him die with the rest of us or if I'm gonna sell him to Cerberus and see what happens, but I'm not going to do anything about the Heretic station.

:p I guess Kaiden and Liara will still be around...guess it'll turn out they were smart not to join back up with Shepard.

Anywho, back to what is sure to be my shortest ME 2 playthrough ever. :3

Open mics are usually ok anyway. I mean performing at a bands gig. I was on between two bands at a single launch once, by the time I got on people were hammered and shouting shit to the point where other audience members were telling them to shut the fuck up. The last five minutes of the set was addressing about 15 people directly who just came up to the stage. That was a rough night.

It's a pretty insane feeling once you get your first laugh. How are your nerves. I'm always shitting myself before I go on, feel amazing on stage then come off shaking.
Like I said before, I had a lot of nervous energy during the first 30 seconds. After that first big group laugh, however, it was smooth sailing from there on. Afterwords, for me, there was no shaking. I shaked a little before getting on to the stage, but I just kept repeating Bill Hicks' "Don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." in my head. And it worked. Also kept Goku's saying to Trunks "Sure, all things are scary at first. Maybe I can make a difference." in my head, too. That's why I look forward to my next stage. The more I keep doing this, the more comfortable I'll feel.

I'm going to attend a truck driving school here in the next few weeks, so I can get a job that lets me be away from people and pays more than double what I make now in security.

I had 3 calls yesterday from "One Million Moms" complaining that Green Lantern is gay...caller ID said none of them were anywhere NEAR my store, and had no doubt never set foot in the shop. I had fun riling them up about how I orderred extra copies and thanked them for giving the book so much extra attention.

I got ym grades back for this semesters papers except for phys ed.

65, 60, 60, 45.

I am displeased by the 45 because it seems she took the method "detract ten points for every retarded niggle I can have" e.g. it was spaced in 1.5, the universities standard, not 2.0. I am not amused.
