this thread is great i have these thoughts daily and this is an interesting concept

it never appears in the news that a clown is hit by a car by accident therefore if you dress as a clown you wont be hit by a car.

Random thought: A worse fate than death would be to be purged of all of your senses, but kept alive for a significant amount of time.

Yay random, morbid thoughts...
If we subtract all senses, can we really call him alive?

Hey buddy! Haven't seen you around in a while.

I wonder what Duke Nukem would be like if he never went 3D...

Well, you're techinically alive as far as the real world is concerned; it's like when you're in a coma. The only difference is that you're very much alive and awake, but you can't see, you can't hear, you can't speak, you can't smell, and you can't feel.

I imagine a large, black, empty space with a dark figure resembling a person in the middle. You try to move, and sure you move, but you can't feel you moving. You can't see you moving. You can't hear you moving.

You can still do things and interact with the real world, but you won't ever know it. There's nothing around and no way to know of it to you, while to everyone else you're just fumbling about, running into walls or tripping over couches.

What makes wind so windy? Seriously, there's nothing that "pushes" air in a direction...

This thread cold go far, we never have threads that just let people talk about things despite the fact that this is the Off-Topic board.

My random thoughts of the day: I love Autumn; it is a fine season. Also, going to water parks on cold Autumn days is not a great idea.

Another morbid, random thought: How far out can you remove the eye from the eye socket and still retain sight in that eye?

That could make for ultimate horror...

My random thought is wondering how many people on this forum I know on other forums, but I don't know it's them.

That would be hilarious. I would feel bad afterwards if I knew about his predicament.

Purgatory is a layer of hell. I don't know when it change to reflect what it is today, but no matter. I mean in a philosophical sense. Can someone think in that state and if memory fade (Like everyone) wouldn't he stop thinking eventually.

Hilarious to watch, sure, but to be in that situation yourself, I'm sure one would wish death upon themselves rather than live.

Speech isn't a sense >_>...And if someone was only suddenly stripped of their senses, it's not like they were deaf all their life and wouldn't know speech, they'd still be able to talk, they just might yell a lot.
Also, you wouldn't be able to taste anything, and that would suck.

Yeah. Makes me think of Johnny Get Your Gun, the inspiration for Matallica's "One".
