Rare Games: Have you found/bought any recently?

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel for PS2 for $15. I dont even own a PS2 anymore but I know that game is decenly hard to find and I wanted to add it to my Fallout collection.

They made a Fallout PS2 game? Wow I really need to learn more about Fallout...

Ya its horrible. I'm just a huge Fallout Fan and it was the only game from the series I did not own so i bought it.

I don't know if they are particularly rare but I finished my first year of uni and after cleaning out my room forgot that i had left my ps2 with my old copies of tekken and crash bandicoot in the kitchen of course i figured this out when i got home and started unpacking, i wasn't best pleased.

That's crazy, when did that game become rare? I used to see it lying on the shelves all the time.

That's crazy, when did that game become rare? I used to see it lying on the shelves all the time.

Play station 1 games that are "classics" seem to be going up in value, more so those with the actual manual and case(Without the case and manual the value seems to drop 40% or more) . I personally think it's due to how easily the disks can be scratched so the amount of working copies seems to be going down.

Well, a couple days ago, I found Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey for DS at a Best Buy for $20 new with a 10 OST disk with the box. I'd say that's a pretty rare find, considering that was the ONLY SMT game (and the only M-rated DS game) I saw in the entire game section.

I been trying to, but I cannot find Star Wars: Bounty Hunter for the Game Cube anywhere around me.

Been trying to hunt that one down myself. It's not on top of my list though.

I spent about 120$ on Shadow of the Collosus when I finally found it. It was worth it though.
Also managed to Find Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for a cheaper price. There was Goldeneye there too for 25$. I really wish I had gotten it now.

My friend just got me Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2. Can't wait to try it out!
Problem is, my ps3 doesn't have backwards compatability (DAMN YOU SONY!!!!!) Guess I'll have to try to find an emulator...

Well, someone else who also ordered Persona in the mail. Huh.
Since that's already been taken, I guess I'll say Shadow of The Colossus and King Of Fighters XI. Best 40 bucks well spent.

The last two some what hard to find games I bought were Shadow of the Colossus and Conker's Bad Fur Day. Were they worth it? Hell yea Conker's Bad Fur Day is an amazing game and Shadow of the Colossus was quite the adventure. Got both of 'em in local games stores also which makes it even better.

been trying to find gitaroo man for a while now. still no success. very sad.

Edit: i'll join in the shadow of the colossus boat though, found it a year ago for 15 bucks at gamestop. looked through several stores for several months before i found it.

Well I havn't bought any recently, but the last "rare" game I got was Dynasty Tactics 2, what I personally see as the most underrated game ever. Ever since I bought it I've never seen another copy of it anywhere.

I'm still looking for Spyro the Dragon though, actually, I'm still looking for somwhre that sells PS1 games :/
