I... use steam. That being said, I don't think many people on steam have:
- Threadspace: Hyperbole
- The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom
- The Ship
- Samrost 2

Still, I suppose they aren't really rare in a traditional sense...
The Ship... sure wish I'd never bought that one. Rare, maybe... Good, no.

I suppose it's safe to mention because nobody knows where I live:
[sub] I have a sealed copy of Earthbound [/sub]
afaik Earthbound was never shrink-wrapped. Unless you mean unopened.

nvm just read the above post.

Well, I too have a copy of Earthbound. I also have a copy of Rescue Shot for the PS1 which... might be rare. I dunno.

Or this one?
<image height=200>http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/6/922286_front.jpg
<image height=200>http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/bigboxshots/6/922286_77482_front.jpg

If it's the first, congratulations! If it's the second, it isn't rare at all.

its the second, but its for PS2. Does that make a difference?

Oh, I also have bionicle and Pac Man world rally. Are those rare? Sorry i really am not caught up with this stuff. Those are my weirdest out of all my PS2 games, so I was just wondering.

No difference, it isn't a rare title. Sorry.

Bionicle isn't rare, and Pac Man isn't worth all that much either.

I have a functional copy of Earthbound, with the Collector's guide, inherited from a friend. Yeah...that's about my contribution.

It is a great game, I liked it quite a bit more than Earthbound, which is saying a lot.

I'm guessing final fantasy VI advance is rare since I usually see it for £150 on amazon
:O i bought my copy for around $10. I'm not sure who would charge (or pay) that much for an inferior port to the original version

WH...WHAT!?!?
The ship is one of THE best games to LAN party. It has a unique and tense atmosphere with a fun style, and, and... it's good!

How is it bad?

It may be enjoyable if you have a dedicated group of people at a lan party playing - never tried that. But as for just joining random servers... when I last played it (not long after it came out) there weren't many players at all. You'd run around with a total of 4 or 5 real people in the entire game. Just didn't enjoy it.

Aha; yep the internet is not a good place for that game.

Tales of Symphonia as in the original. One of my favorite games of all time.

I can't remember the exact name or platform, but I believe my brother had a Pac-Man game many years ago where Pac-Man traverses an open world.
He also had that Super Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger for the SNES.

Uh, only thing i can think of is Arcanum, and it's probably not that rare.
I've got that one. I really wanted to like that game but I just couldn't figure it out.

Personally, I don't have many "rare" games but I've got plenty of old games that would be hard to find on that basis alone:

Earthseige
Starseige
System Shock
Future Shock
Skynet
Day of the Tentacle
Falcon 3.0
Mechwarrior
Dungeon Keeper
Thief: the Dark Project
Star Wars: Dark Forces
Evil Dead: Hail to the King
G-Nome

Many of these games are common enough I suspect. Still, games like Skynet (an FPS made by Bethesda Softworks set in the terminator universe after the nuclear war) and G-Nome I've never heard mentioned by anyone other than myself. If it weren't for the fact that I still have the discs, I might think I imagined them.

Xenosaga 3
Vagrant Story
Panzer Dragoon Zwei
Panzer Dragoon Saga
The World Ends with You (sealed)

All of these games proved to be complete suffering for my wallet. Except for that last one, that was a gift.

What's the difference between the two, besides one being on the GBA?

The GBA version actually has a few more features (6 new espers, optional superboss) but those are after thoughts, and the super nintendo version has better sound quality. I personally prefer the snes version just so i can play it on a tv
