I'd love to see him get permabanned.
The idea that a guy shows people the latest in viral videos and makes cheap jokes about them (the kind of things you'll find in the comments of said videos) seems really cheap and uncreative to me.
He is basically the place to go and keep up to date with the happenings of the internet, if you don't go on the internet enough to keep up to date.

His biggest problem wasn't that he was offensive, just that he's one of the least funny people I've ever seen passed off as "comedy". I know different taste and opinions but the fact that he is considered hilarious by everyone I know makes me go from being apathetic towards him to outright hatred of him at times.

You and I are in agreement on this. Amongst the people I know that like him, they all follow a general trend of douchebaggery or immaturity in their wit similar to his. I say he's a fuckin' hack. I can't stand his videos, therefore I don't watch them
No, I don't particularly like hearing people talk about him, but thankfully that doesn't happen often and if it does, I ignore it.
His being out of a job means nothing to me.
No pleasure on my end.
No sadistic happiness.
I'm simply relieved I no longer have to see his stupid face on Youtube's main page anymore.
Same reason why I'd be "happy" so to speak if Dane Cook were to go away or lose his job.
Not because it brings me happiness to know they're grieving but simply because I don't like it.

The arguement that the only reason this is so is because "you might unintentionally be reminded of his existance" due to the fact he has an online presence is pretty weak.

The only change in fact only occurs to those who like him.

I make the logical jump of:

You hate something therefore you dont care about it, you choose not to view it, it has zero impact on you. I dont like our prime minister, i have no reaction if i accidently view his face.

The thing goes away, but you dont care about it, only those who like him do.

I also saw Youtube has gone a bit nutty with their copyright protection measures, I didn't think they'd target people who make them money though. I guess anything goes now.

The only thing I like about his videos are the viral ones he comments on. Not him. If he would post only the viral videos he "finds" (I use that word loosely), then I wouldn't mind. I don't care for his jokes, his face, or his jump-cuts. I just don't like his humor.

Are you sure? I think he has a real job doing something video-related professionally in Hollywood. I hope he gets back though, people might be jealous of the amount of attention he got but he did it all off his own back and that commands some level of respect.

Yeah, the views he gets for =3 get's him somewhere in the region of $1.3m PA, that's not counting his VLogs and YFM (both views and iTunes downloads).

He recently moved over to H'Wood where I believe he's going to get into media on a professional basis.
