I'd love to see him get permabanned.
The idea that a guy shows people the latest in viral videos and makes cheap jokes about them (the kind of things you'll find in the comments of said videos) seems really cheap and uncreative to me.
He is basically the place to go and keep up to date with the happenings of the internet, if you don't go on the internet enough to keep up to date.

Being uncreative is grounds for a permaban? DAMN.

It'd be like if I made videos where all I did was show people clips from movies and say why these clips are funny or why they are cool.

What annoys me about him, is half of his content is viral videos that most people wouldn't see normally unless they were shown.
Its also why I dislike tosh.0, although he is 100% unfunny whereas RWJ can be funny at times.

What did he do?

I think his acount got shut down 'cause that he took other peoples videos and put them on his website and put the links to the videos on his website in the description of his videos. That way, he got money from other peoples videos.

Wait....if using other people's videos illegally was what he got banned for, why has it only been really noticed now? I mean surely in the many years in which he has used many, many videos, some of them must have been improperly used. You think this would show up earlier....

He started putting the videos on his website after he became No. 1 on YouTube. So I guess it took some time for them to realize that he was earning money from others achievements.

Damn it would have been awesome if he stayed banned but YouTube would obviously never do that, I kinda wonder how it happened it the first place? They must have some automatic banning system. Ray represents everything that is wrong with YouTube and is a perfect example of someone who has a way bigger fan base than they deserve. If this is the guy I'm thinking of, my roommate from last year is one of those subscribers. The funny thing? The subscription actually paid off. In order to boost comments on his videos, the guy would offer a prize, which would go to commenter number (whatever number he felt like.) My Roommate wound up being the lucky commenter, and got a brand new PS3 for his troubles.
