Reading on the toilet

I always have a book or magazine in my bathroom for those times when I know I'm going to be there for a while.

Well, my train of thought is that if I have enough time to focus on reading a book on the toilet, I'm not in there to shit. However, I do read books and play DS while taking a bath on a regular basis.

Always less than 1 minute. There's no point in me reading a magazine or anything. But I will read and send text messages quite often.

Yeah man, give or take 20 seconds. I find it weird how some people take something like 10 minutes. It's like comparing it to taking a piss. Who stands in front of the toilet and has to wait 5 minutes before taking a piss? If you're gonna go, you're gonna go.

On occasion. Usually, I'm in and out in a few minutes, but sometimes, I do read. The problem is that it always increases the time I spend on the toilet exponentially. If I'm reading a really good book, I could be in there for an hour. Just reading. By the time I realize where I am and decide that I can just continue reading in the living room, I have an issue with legs having fallen asleep. Really bad since I use to make fun of my dad for doing the same thing.

40 minutes on the toilet is a bit long. I prefer to do my business quickly so it normally doesn't take any longer than 5 minutes for me.

I refuse on principle to take any actual reading material into the bathroom because I think it's weird, but I will usually grab a shampoo bottle or something and read the ingredients, in a variety of accents. Go figure.

I usually have my phone with me, which means I have a choice of several hundred ebooks. I hardly ever go for long without reading, wherever I am.

The hell is wrong with your bowel movements people? 40 minutes? 60 minutes? 90 fuckin' minutes. You better be reading WebMD and looking for the solution to your problem.

I don't read - in and out in five minutes tops.

If I have a really good book to read, and I have a large amount of business to take care of I do bring a book. I usually just have a radio in the bathroom and listen to it while Im showering, shaving, etc.

I bring books with me, and I might stay for a little while in there. It's not because I am...going...for that long, but really it's the only place in the house where I can go without being bothered.
