Melvin said to Yukari and once the protective gap had been taken down, he played his trap card that he had drawn earlier, Mirror Wall. It created a crystal wall in front of him, and when the knives hit it, they became duller and slowed down by half their speed, giving Melvin time to dodge them. "While my trap card is in effect, you won't be able to beat me. And there's no way you can negate it, seeing as how you have no way to do so, and even if you try getting to me, my Mirror Wall will make you attack your own reflection, making you slower and weaker, along with knocking you back." He laughed again.
Yukari secretly strengthened Melvin's mirror wall exponentially. Then she started whistling, like she had done nothing.
Jan stopped running and stood in front of Melvin.
"What is it that you want? Why do you ally yourself with idiots? Together we could rule this world." Jan said.

Melvin paced back and forth, safe behind the Mirror Wall. "What is it that I want? I want to control the world. And to do that, I can't have fools like you roaming around, claiming to want to side with me and want to rule it together with me. You cannot match me in power. The power I seek is one of greatness. And they might be idiots, but they are more tolerable idiots than you are." He drew another card.
"You cannot convince me to join you. You have nothing I want. If you had the Pharaoh, then we could talk. But the fact that you didn't mention him right away means you never had him and therefor, I know you have nothing to offer me." He used the card he had, a magic card named Swords of Revealing Light. "Not only does this card shed some light on you, it also makes it so that you are unable to attack and will remain still until the card's effects run out. It's much more fun to torture your enemies than to simply finish them off right away." He drew yet another card. He summoned it on the other side of the Mirror Wall, a monster card, Gearfried the Iron Knight, that looked like a man with some sort of black armor around him and a giant blade on his right arm. "Say goodbye to your right arm. Gearfried, attack him!" Gearfried slashed at Jan, taking off his right arm.

"Oh my. Seems we're in a bit of a spot. Not that it will kill me, but should prove to be a problem for the others." Alucard noted and looked around the hallway, looking for a weak spot. Due to it being metallic, he didn't find one, so he'd have to make it himself. He morphed his arms into two drills and drilled into the closest wall. Seras morphed her left arm into a drill as well and helped him. After a bit, they managed to get a big enough hole for them all to get through. "If you don't want to stay in the gas, I suggest you follow us." he said as he left through the holes, to find the Major and deal with him.

"What the-" Haruko got out before kicking Morrigan into a wall, which broke in a way that formed a cell for her to stay in until she's done doing what she was doing. She then dressed up like Bugs Bunny, and started chewing on a carrot, waiting for Yukari to turn around.
Morrigan was quickly expunged of her high by the sheer force of the impact. There was series of small explosions caused by several blasts of orange-purple energy that broke through the cell. She rubbed her head and walked back to the group.
"Haruko, did you just kick your leader into a wall? I certainly hope you didn't." She moved her lips close to Haruko's ear. "Bad, sexy things tend to happen to people who upset me."

Haruko then ripped off the costume, and revealed that she was actually wearing a Pop-eye costume. A can of spinach rolled to her feet.
She picked it up, squeezed the can, and the spinach flew out. It landed perfectly in her mouth. Her muscles spontaneously grew in both arms for a few second. She spoke random gibberish for a second or two, before uppercutting Morrigan and making her fly so high up into the hair that she was almost able to lick a satellite.

Morrigan narrowly missed getting hit by Sputnik as she landed next to Haruko, spreading her wings to slow her fall. She turned to Haruko.
