"Whatever it is, it should be disposed off if it doesn't belong there." Florence said.

"Hmpf. Interesting." Alucard holstered his pistols and began morphing again. His fingers turned into claws, thick and sharp ones, his teeth became even sharper then they were, his body basically became a shadow with his head and arms somehow connected to it. He charged at the Captain, swiping at him with his claws and attempting to take a bite out of his shoulder.

Demoman inspected the object. "Ain't no bomb," he said. "If it was, I'd smell tha potassium or francium or C4 or whatever. Could be a trackin' thing. Mah best guess is that it's a diversion."

Marina was walking around the object, in circles, inspecting it. Her thumb and index finger held her chin. "...I think it's too early to make assumptions... It could be anything..." She said.

Yukari yawned as she pulled her fan from another gap and, with one flick of her wrist, opened it up and began fanning herself.. "I think we should just get rid of it and move on. Agreed?"

"Query: I suppose I should..ARGGGG!!!" Nero yelled as he touched the device, causing an electromagnetic pulse to encompass both himself and GLaDOS, taking them both offline.

The Captain charged at Alucard, biting at the twisted body as he suffered his own wounds from Alucards fangs.

"My sensors indicate that this thing is falling!" Ada said to the rest of the group.

"Were probably not going to be much help against whatever that thing is, lets try to find the engine room." Just as Ada began to lead the group away, more Nazi's opened fire on them.

"Oh, damn!" shouted Starkiller, running up to Nero. "Crap! Morrigan's our only hope now! WE ARE SO FUCKED!"

"COR BLIMEH GAWD HELP MEH!" shouted Demoman, experiencing the same apprehension as Starkiller.

"Hey!" Morrigan opposed. "You two, shut it! We need to find who did this."

GLaDOS's core suddenly began to light up again, however instead of its usual blue, it became a dark red.

"I am Helios. I now have full control."

Yukari didn't care. "Oh, hello, Helios~ How are you today? Did you just take over the non-living, non-important mind of that other machine and replace it with your own mind of the same state?~" She chuckled.

Marina stared at Helios for a long while. "...Another AI... I wonder if this one is more intelligent than GlaDOS..."

"GLaDOS's intelligence could not be accurately compared to any carbon based life-forms, the scale would not be fair. The competency of your leader is not a pressing issue though. Is there a commander in place of GLaDOS at the present?" Helios asked.

"So you're saying my intelligence and thousands of years of wisdom and experience far exceeds that of that scrap of alloys and metals' that was created by carbon-based life forms?~ Oh, how sweet~ Flattery will get you everywhere." She started laughing.

Marina shook her head. "Yeah..." Marina pointed to Nero's smoldering heap next to the AI. "he's right there... You electrified him. Third in command is the girl with the green hair and the bat-wings, but right now, Our leader is that guy with the ridiculous hair and golden scepter." She scratched her head. "Where did you even come from?"

"Hey," Morrigan said to Marina, "Melvin's not the leader." She stepped forward. "I am, Helios. General Morrigan Aensland, daughter of Belial Aensland. Why are you here? And what have you done with GLaDOS?

"I have done nothing with GLaDOS, I have merely made a deal with her. If her AI was to go offline I was to step in and provide you with instruction. I have been monitoring things from the background for quiet some time, ever since JC Denton was abducted. He has yet to surface on the grid, we have faith that he will though." Helios answered.

Marina clenched her fists a bit. "That's why I said you were third in command..." She rubbed her temples. "Okay... Okay... Fine... Helios, right? What are your instructions?"

Yukari chuckled. "Is it for you to continue to be an idiot and insult the race of the living, when you have no life or soul of your own, nor the power to defeat the people in this room?~"

"I see," Morrigan said to Marina. "I didn't hear that. I had... other things on my mind. You can fill in the blanks."

Starkiller raised an eyebrow. "So you're not evil? Thank God."

Yukari turned herself towards Starkiller. "Don't be so sure. It could still be lying. Machines wouldn't think twice about doing things like that."

"Machines don't lie. Three Laws of Robotics, ever heard of them? Don't harm humans, don't harm each other, protect your own existence. The only 'bots that don't have them are Battle Droids, and he's not a Battle Droid," Starkiller said. "I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure."

Yukari shook her head, which was essentially her way of facepalming. "Oh wow~ The stupidity was just POURING out of your mouth when you said that! Do I need to explain the definition of the word 'Logic' To you?~"

In the event that that GLaDOS perished prematuraly, she instructed me to tell you to go into the basement, she has left a video tape in a vault. "I have eons to spear, Helios~ Come talk to me when A) You develop actual emotions and B) I feel that your power is actually a threat." She chuckled. "I still don't trust a word you say though, so I guess I'll just wait right here and sit with you while they go do whatever the OTHER un-living mound of metal wanted. You and I might be able to talk a little bit~"

Marina shook her head. "Helios, just ignore her... She's not lying about power, but she's just a troll... Don't give her what she wants. C'mon guys, to the basement." Marina began to walk to the basement, waiting for the others.

Yukari shook her head. "The day a machine teaches me something about the emotions of living beings that I didn't already know in my Millennia of life is the day that I don't enjoy being myself~"

Starkiller gritted his teeth. I will not decapitate her in her sleep, I will not decapitate her in her sleep...

"If you're telling the truth, then okay. What Marina said." Morrigan followed Marina. "Besides, if he's lying, Tavish will blow him sky-high.
