Reality TV Show Video Game Edition 3: Anime Invades (closed)

Melvin just laughed hard at Breen's offer. "Oh wait, he's serious. Let me laugh even harder." And so he did for a few more moments, tears forming from the laughter. He managed to catch his breath, but couldn't get the grin away. "He's serious, isn't he? We are not going to join him. I'm not at least. I am quite capable of keeping myself alive. So long as the Shadow Realm lives, so do I." He chuckled after that.

"Don't forget that I live as long as the Shadow Realm remains, too." Florence said and chuckled with Melvin. "I won't bow down before some old looking man. I'm a 5000 years old spirit. I will not take orders from someone who just looks old."

Alucard took a few moments to let this information sink in. "I'm guessing this Felix will get the Master Emerald as well. I think Shadow mentioned something about a Master Emerald. I don't care about the Combine. But, Breen has kept the Major alive?" He bit his lip hard enough to draw blood. "He should have made sure he died." He licked his own blood and the wound healed. "But no matter. I can't let it happen that Breen does that. No one should be turned to a vampire against their will. They'll be much weaker than I am, and most likely will succumb easier to power than I. They might even disobey Breen. He can't make sure they all listen to him. Why would they? They'd be practically unstoppable, except if I and Seras hunt them down." He walked in circles for a few moments, then stopped in front of Jenna and looked down on her. "What do you need me to do? Why do you tell me and Seras about this, and not someone else, like Dante or Morrigan?"

 

[elricik]

"Dante's been on Legion's side for almost the entire time, he's the one who helped me smuggle Isaac out of here in the first place. I tell you because I know your loyalty to Breen isn't nearly as strong as he believes. He's hopes that you will be able to command the vampire army. If you cannot, it really doesn't matter to him. He'll release them on the Legion of Doom, and then destroy them once the job is done. I'm not really sure what he plans to do with the Major once the vampires are made." Jenna said.

"Felix isn't himself, my brother would never willingly work with Breen. Breen initially killed my Brother, blew him up with a bomb. The psyenergy my brother commanded allowed him to live through it. After seeing what Isaac could do, Breen decided that psyenergy could be one of the strongest forces in the world. He started rebuilding Felix, who might even be stronger than Isaac at this point. There's one more thing as well..."

"You should all make preparations for the coming battle, it will be our last in one way or another. Once Jenna returns and relays her intelligence, we will leave. Fran's prepping the rebuilt airship as we speak." GLaDOS said.

 

[Lambi]

"He hopes that I will command it?" Alucard thought about that for a moment. Then shook his head. "I wouldn't do it anyway. And you are right, my 'loyalty' to Breen is practically none. I've only 'followed' Breen's orders to get as quickly out of here as possible. And maybe find a way to restore the universe."

He continued to listen to her. "He...rebuilt Felix? How can that...no. I've seen more ridiculous and impossible things. No offense to your brother. And what is this one more thing?"

"I'm as ready as I can." Unless I can find more souls to send to the Shadow Realm, but I doubt that. Melvin kept his arms folded and his Millennium Rod in his hand. His cape flapped in the wind. Er, whether there was a wind or not didn't matter.

"I'm ready as well." Florence said with a smirk on his face and his arms folded.

 

[SteakHeart]

"I'm ready," Starkiller said. "I just want to get out of here."

Demoman nodded in agreement. "I'm almost out of whiskey, anyway."

 

[elricik]

"Breen has modified his universe-compressing device, he's built a large chamber underground that houses the equipment to it. Only those resistant to radiation can use it, its nuclear powered. Psyenergy users are resistant to radiation, he's planning on making Felix use the device during battle. He's going to send characters he can't kill into another random universe. You alone can stop him before the battle, stop him from using the device by destroying it. However, if the device is destroyed it means none of us can ever go back to our own universes, the multiverse will always exist." Jenna explained.

[Lambi]

"So, my choices are to destroy this device and allow none of us to return to our universes, or allow him to use the device in battle?" He thought about his choices. "But, what if I would just kill Breen? Or, excuse me for this idea, kill your brother, Felix? I believe I would be resistant to radiation, having lived for a while now and nothing killing me. I could also, to spare your brother, grab the device before Felix does. That would require me to know where exactly it is, of course."

 

[elricik]

"I would rather not have my brother killed, I think he can be healed, possibly. I don't doubt that you'd be able to withstand the radiation, but you wouldn't be able to operate the machine. If you messed up even in some small way, you could end up destroying everything. Breen has imprinted special instructions in Felix's subconscious to ensure he does only what Breen has instructed him to do. As for killing Breen...I don't even know if you'd be able to stand up to his power now. Those emeralds have made him into some sort of deity."

Several explosion and the sound of man yelling could be heard above them.

"He's attacking the Combine."

 

[Lambi]

"Seems we can't do much, then. Maybe if we worked together to bring him down, but even then it might be futile."

Alucard looked around himself when the explosions went off. "We should hurry. Can you get us to where Breen is, at least? I might be able to talk him out of it, and if not, this might be the fight I've been looking for..."

Seras glomped Alucard, making them both fall down onto the floor. "No! I won't let you die!"

"But, Seras..."

"No buts! You will stay alive and help us!" She started to tear up and hid her face in his chest. Alucard smiled and chuckled, and patted her on the back. "Fine, fine. Just stop your crying." Seras looked at him with teary eyes and a smile. They both stood up. Alucard turned to Jenna. "What can we do, then, besides destroying the machine?"

Somewhere, somehow, somesome, a laughter echoed from, being brought to everyone's ears. It was an old familiar laughter. One that the ones that knew it hadn't heard in a loooooong time. An insane, high-pitched laughter...

"Uwe he he he he he he..."

 

[elricik]

"I must leave to go with the others, your more useful here though. You have a lot of tough choices to make, I wish I could tell you what to do, but its not my place. If you truly feel there is no other way, then you can go after Felix. That will leave the machine intact, and maybe after the battle is over we can figure out how to use it. If your going to kill him...please try not to make it painful." Jenna said as she began to tear up.

"I suppose at the very least you could track down and kill the Major, near the hanger levels with the vampires and soon to be vampires. I have to go, the others need me. If you however do remain on Breen's side through this conflict, know that the next time we meet it will be as enemies. Goodbye Alucard, Seras."

Jenna disappeared in a flash of psyenergy.

Jenna arrived back at the Legion of Doom mansion, relieved that everyone looked intact and that Isaac's vision had returned.

"We don't have much time, everyone please listen to what I have to say..."

Breen finished slaying the Combine, and decided to make a television broadcast. After doing that he pressed a button, turning on the intercom.

"City 17 is now in Red Alert, everyone prepare for battle. Any main members of the Brotherhood of Breen, please report to my office." Breen said into his intercom, awaiting Alucard, Seras, Ada, and anyone that was left in his Brotherhood.

 

[Lambi]

"I will keep it as painless as I can. I promise that. And I understand. Farewell, Jenna. May the next time we meet be as friends." Alucard said to Jenna before she disappeared. He heard the announcement from Breen. He looked to Seras. "We should find the Major and kill him. That should be our priority. We can deal with Breen and Felix once that's done." Seras nodded and they both started to run towards the hangar levels, both prepared to fight, Alucard with his Jackal and Casull, and Seras morped her arm into a sharp blade.

Melvin listened to everything Jenna had to say. "Then we just kill either Breen or the boy, or we destroy the machine. Easy enough." He heard that strange echoy insane high-pitched laughter, that everyone else should hear too, and some people should recognize it. He looked around himself. "What was that?"

"No clue. I heard that too. Some sort of laughter. Whatever it is, it won't be able to stand up to us."

"You mean me. I should be able to deal with just about everything."

The same laughter could be heard again, this time a little louder and with less echo.

"Uwe he he he he he he..."

If anyone would be looking at the horizon, a small darkness would be seen across it, spreading slowly and getting closer to where B.O.B. and L.O.D. were.

"I feel him..." the voice said to itself. "I'm getting closer... At long last, I can have my revenge... UWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" This laughter could be heard by everyone without echo this time, due to how loud it sounded. If anyone would try to look for the source of the laughter and talking, they wouldn't find anything, for the figure was hidden in the darkness, along with two others by it's side, hidden by the darkness as well.

 

[SteakHeart]

Morrigan heard the laughter and instinctively stepped in front of Isaac. "You can't be serious, Kefka," she muttered.

Starkiller and Demoman heard the laughter. "That can't be good," Galen said.

 

[elricik]

Alucard and Seras made their way down to the lower levels, they reached the hanger area that Jenna described. A series of checkpoints made up by the stormtroopers blocked them from actually entering the hanger. The first two stormtrooper stood at guard in front of what appeared to be a force field, no doubt technology from their future.

"Oh God more clowns." Denton moaned as he reloaded his weapon.

"Do I have to say it again?" Nero asked as he did the same.

"If he's going to attack us, we have to beat him quickly. Breen is too dangerous to be left alone for a long period of time." Jenna warned.

 

[Lambi]

Alucard didn't see much of a threat with those Stormtroopers. Not many were, to him. That force field, however, might pose a problem. Not for long, though. His hypnosis might do the job. He and Seras walked up to where the Stormtroopers were. "Halt!" one of them said. "No unauthorized personal here!"

"But why not?" Alucard said as he took his sunglasses off and his eyes flashed red as he attempted to hypnotize either of the guards so they'd deactivate the force field.

"Kefka? Who's Kefka?" Melvin asked Morrigan. "Whoever that is, he sounds like danger. And danger is my kind of fun." He licked his lips, then chuckled.
[hr]
The darkness was spreading even further. Getting closer, wrapping everything in its cold embrace as it swept the land. Kefka was hidden inside the darkness. "Breen! Isaac! I know you're here! You will taste your doom here! Uwa ha ha ha ha ha ha! Face me so we may finish this! It is your fate to be sealed in the darkness that I bring! A darkness that will destroy everything!" His voice sounded hollow, almost empty. But still somehow full of the same joy as it had the other times he had appeared.

 

[Fury Is Me.]

Isaac looked out into the all-consuming darkness and muttered the same name as Morrigan. "Kefka..." Isaac looked down. "How many times do you have to kill that clown before he stays down?" Lifting his head back up, he turned to everyone else. "Guys, be careful. The man out in that darkness is no minor threat. He's come back from the dead for the third time now, and last time, he was nearly unstoppable. I have no idea what he is now." Isaac said, drawing his Sol Blade from it's sheathe.

Marina tilted her head. "Kefka? Why am I starting to think of some kind of killer court Jester?"

"Because that's what he is." Said Isaac.

Marina stood there for a moment. "...Wow. Lucky guess."

Yukari, Ran, and Chen floated outside. "Oh my, it's dark out today. Is there an eclipse?" Said Yukari, jokingly.

"No, I don't believe so, Yukari-sama." Said Ran.

"Seems like something BIG is coming!" Said Chen, excitedly.

Yukari chuckled. "I'm getting the feeling that it's also the beginning of something even bigger~ Today feels like a good day."

 

[SteakHeart]

Demoman stared into the darkness. "A clown? I en't afraid of no clowns."

Morrigan looked to Demo. "Did you not hear what Isaac said?"

"I did. I still ain't afraid."

"Are you drunk?"

"Positiveleh hammered."

 

[elricik]

"This could work to our advantage." Denton said as he stared into the darkness. "Kefka hates Breen, if we could somehow lure him into attacking Breen first, we might be able to resolve this war without putting hardly any effort in."

"Everyone into the airship!" Nero called as he led the way into the lower part of the mansion.

[hr]

"Your a general of Breen's right. Its ok, he can go in." One of the stormptroopers said as he deactivated the force field.

Alucard and Seras moved down the hallway until they came upon the second and final checkpoint. This checkpoint had imperial guards, rather than stormtroopers on watch.

"Security code?" One of the Imperiald Guard's asked behind his red cloak.

 

[SteakHeart]

"That's BRILLIANT!" Morrigan said to Denton. "Remind me to thank you later." She ran towards the airship. "We just have to piss him off."

 

[Lambi]

I wonder just how powerful this Kefka really is... Melvin followed the others to the airship. Perhaps I can acquire the secret to his power and use it for my own. Florence was close behind Melvin.

The darkness continued to spread, growing in every direction. It was like a black cover, shrouding everything in darkness, ready to destroy all it touched. Kefka's laughter could be heard from it to everyone in B.O.B. and L.O.D. "Come out, come out, wherever you are! I know you're here somewhere! I've been waiting so long to see you! How have you two been? You haven't killed each other yet, that much I know! I'm here to correct that mistake, by killing you both! UWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" The two following him showed no emotion, just followed him obediently. They wouldn't be visible yet, nor did they make a sound. Only Kefka knew about them.

The doors to the hanger opened, revealing the newly rebuilt airship.

"Climb aboard, someone man the guns." Fran said from the bridge.

"I figure we open fire on him, and fly like a bat out of hell toward Breen." Denton said.
