I do not, repeat do not want it remade. I simply ask that it be ported to one console in each generation until the end of time. Enough good videogames have been lost because they weren't compatible with modern systems, and the gaming industry is the only one which does this: old films are being released on DVD so that they don't get lost, but the gaming industry seems like it's trying to wipe clean its past. This must not happen. SotC is one of the best games ever made, and it must not be abandoned.

Quake II redone in the Doom 3 engine would be nice as well, come to think of it.

i wanna play perfect dark (the original) remade with better graphics.... dont change the game at all gameplay wise.. dont add/remove weapons.... just remake it with better graphics and playable over xbox live (or PSN if thats ur cup of tea) especially counter op!!! cus that was sooo fun but i have yet to see that in another game...

Actually this was done...see Rockstar's inexplicably well received table tennis game.

ITA with the Legacy of Kain games, at least with the Blood Omen side. I always found Raziel to be a whiny ***** and could never stand him. Kain, on the other hand, I found to be one of the most interesting videogame characters I've ever come across.

My vote for remake: the Mutant League sports games, hockey and football. And if I can only get 1, I'm voting for hockey. There's nothing quite like going into the 3rd period and seeing the bodies of your opponents and teammates floating underneath the ice. Ah, the brutality...

God damn right, The Mutant League Games were amazing ! I bought a genesis just for them !

Chrono trigger/chross remade, rewritten, retranslated. Not so much as to mess with the tone of the games, just to tie them together a little clearer. I was fairly certain square was testing the waters with the chrono trigger re release, but sadly, i'm not fairly certain that they were just milking the fan base.

What amazes me is that for all the retreads and milking EA is involved with, they never revived this series. Road Rash would be another one, but only if they could restore the team that built the 3DO version of Road Rash, which was hands-down the best version that series ever saw.

I like these. I would love to see all of them re-made. Those are some of my favorite games (not Hunter: The Reckoning, I've always wanted to play it though).

My pick would be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist for the Genesis ported to any console. It's not too hard. It's just because my Genesis has a tendency to freeze more often as the days go by. The Legacy of Kain series and the Legend of Dragoon would also be good, but I tried to refrain from saying them, as they have already been said.
