Really old games you'd like either ported to a newer console or remade with newer graphics.

actually, i prefer games on their old consoles.
the upgrade to new graphics seems to make everything take longer then it's supposed to.
case in point: the pokemon series. ever since ruby/sapphire was released, every single graphical improvement came at the cost of some of the games speed. this is fine at first, but if i actually just want to play the game, it becomes rather tiresome. if you play pokemon diamond/pearl and then go back and play ruby/sapphire, you will see very easily what i mean.
so i'll just let everything stay as it is.

It's not really a port or a remake, but there is a remake of TMNT: Turtles in Time for XBL and PSN. It has a lot of the same gameplay elements. You can also get the original arcade game on XBLA.Magnatek said:

for a remake of a classic i'd definately go the kings quest series, like what they've done with monkey island just improving the graphics and sound quality but keeping the essence of the game.

Without a doubt. Definitely. Updated graphics, voice acting, cutscenes. Maybe even make the game longer and explore more of the absurdly-complex plot in greater detail. That game was definitely before its time.

UT 2004 for the 360 and PS3, but without updating the graphics. For some reason, I preferred the simpler, less distracting look to UT3.
