Well I had an interesting dreams last night. Two, actually. The first one, it was a lot like a video game at first. I was fighting some... people? on the steps inside of a castle/dungeon thing. It was a fairly large area. Anyway I thought things were going well for me. Then suddenly the action stopped and the leader was talking to me... I don't know the specifics but I remember some kind of threat and a demonstration of lava flowing... then next thing I know we're "friends" and I can proceed below. So I go down and it's suddenly like a bog/swamp type area. Turns out all these people are actually lycanthrops (wolfmen/women). Also a couple of my close friends were already down there chillin and having a good time. I was like "WTF? I just finished fighting with these people how are you here?" it was very uncanny. That's about it...

Next dream I was with a friend. I remember bits and pieces. Something about driving around in snowy weather, trying to get somewhere... but it was weird. At one point I tried driving up a spiral staircase (????) and got to the top but couldn't proceed so I backed the car back down it... And then I remember we were walking in a big white room with a door on the roof and under that on the floor. It was a huge room, like a school gymnasium. Then we went through to another similar room. We walked up to a catwalk, there was two small windows facing into the room we were just in. There was also a small opening and a sock or something laying in it. We notice someone is in the other room but we figure he's trying to get us or something so we sneakily poke our heads up to get a look. It looks a lot like Ben Stiller... odd. He's throwing clothing to get them through the hole and rambling about I don't know what. But then he sees us and I think he was taunting us maybe. Not sure. Then I woke up.

Yay dreams!

I don't remember any REALLY weird dreams, but I'll give you a weird dream for me as I've never had one so good and yet so painful.
For some backstory, my GF is a girl from 'Merica, we've been together for 2 years, and I didn't see her for about 2 weeks, so I had this dream that I woke up at about 6 am in the morning. It was cool, which was odd because it was Summer and as I laid there I heard a girl say,
"Hey there, can you guess who this is?"
It was Rayne (my GF) and she walked over and crawled onto the bed and straddled my back and started giving me a massage, asking me how I was. I told her I really missed her, and that I loved her. I reached back to touch her, but she stopped me and kissed that spot inbetween my shoulderblades. I couldn't look at her the whole time. I asked if she was gonna stay with me, and she told me she loved me and that I'd see her soon.
I woke up at 6ish in the morning and got all excited because I thought she was here...and then I cried because it was all a dream.
Saw her later that day online.
Not weird, just sad, and a little odd.

The weirdest dream I've had was I was trapped in a haunted house with various other people. Weird part was my friend had the same dream, same people, same house. The only reason I didn't recognize her is she is never herself in her dreams, she always is a different person (however I was able to describe the person she was hanging out with in her dream perfectly).

Otherwise I just have my normal bizarre dreams like having to fight a dragon to go bowling. Or being chased by a tank around in a circle while the benny hill theme plays. At first it was scary as I'm running and it's behind me, then everything speeds up and the music starts playing.

Awww, I hope you told her. I have to admit mentioning that you 'saw' her online later that day must have been double agony - one minute you can feel but not see, the other you can see but not feel.

Okay, here goes mine:

Am making a model Airfix-esque kit at my desk. I manage to get superglue in my scalp so I get out of my bed (even though I had just been at my desk) and go to the bathroom sink, TAKE MY HEAD OFF, calmly put it under the tap and rinse out the glue (meanwhile I'm 'seeing' all this from where my head should be). Problem solved, I put my head back on, adjust it a little cus' it doesn't feel right and then go back to bed.

The End.

Very interesting thread, I'll read it after I post. I just wanted to share mine, because I have two recurring dreams, and by recurring, I mean that I dreamed them as a child, and I still have them on occasion now. I never know when they will happen, I don't know why, but they always come back, and though the setting changes, the world doesn't.

This one is pretty standard and cliche, your average flying/floating/falling dream. In these dreams, I have the ability to levitate myself off the ground. Now what I remember is that when I was younger, I was always able to do this to a great extend. It took some effort, but I was able to fly. I showed my parents, I had fun with it being able to rise a good 30-40 feet off the ground. This is a very real dream, as in it's not entirely lucid, but it is extremely sensory heavy. I see, hear, smell, touch, and taste everything in detail that could only really be topped by actually experiencing it. As well as my reactions, elation, vertigo, fear, the whole bit.

As the years have progressed, my ability to fly has...lessened, somewhat. When I dream, I still can float myself off the ground, but it's gotten harder. Generally, I can only fly when I feel I really need to, when my will is really in it. If I'm in danger or trouble, I can fly myself away from it, but if I'm trying to for no other reason, it's very difficult. I've also grown a bit afraid of it, because my control has lessened. I have a harder time staying up when I get up, and landing safely. More often than not now, I tend to fall, catching myself just enough so that I don't injure myself when I hit the ground. It's lent itself to a very real fear of falling, because it does hurt when I hit the ground to hard, and sometimes I will wake up and feel the parts of my body still hurting from where I landed. I suspect that fear of falling is the reason I cannot fly as well anymore, as my will to fly just isn't in it except when necessary as that fear was something I lacked as a child, but I haven't yet been able to overcome it. So that's that dream.
I had very similar flying dreams. Realistic to the point of adrenaline rush especially due to my heightened sense of motion. I wish I could do it more often.

A common dream that has been occuring recently features me waking up from sleep and going about my daily life. And then I wake up for real and it is 10:30(too late to go to school) and I am swearing nonstop. The weird thing about it is how real it seemed.

Here's one:
I'm standing on a sort of wooden walkway or dock, in the middle of the swamp. Across an expanse of greenish water and swamp trees I see a cave in the shape of a human skull. I'm a treasure hunter and I know there is treasure in that cave. However there are also a lot of alligators in the water, I can't see them but I know they're there. So I think "I'll just fly over to the cave." So I backup the walkway as far as I can and begin to run. As I reach the end of the walkway I jump into the air and begin sailing toward the cave. Unfortunately I jumped the wrong way and hit the upper jaw of the skull-cave... with my face. As I fell into the swampy water below all I was thinking as I fell was "PHHHHUUUUUU-" then I got eaten by an alligator and woke up.

A new one I had a few nights ago:

I'm in some sort of war. I can't remember if it was medieval style, or modern style combat. That part is all fuzzy. But yeah, it was either swords and shields, or guns and shit. Anywho, I invade the enemy camp, and go to the command tent. Inside...is my Year 11 + 12 Maths Studies teacher.
I was like "Ms. Christelow! But why?" and she said something I can't remember.

Then I woke up and my mind was all:

My sister has had dreams about her teeth falling out & each time she dreams this dream my aunt loses a tooth.

I once dreamed that Fran Drescher died. And I keep having these vivid dreams of the drummer of my gave band dying in different ways.

I often have odd dreams, but the one I had last night is pretty strange.

Okay, I have this ex GF who I loathe, so my dream was about her.
so we are hanging out in my house, we are talking about good times and what we've been doing, everything seemed friendly though I was a little standoff-ish, but we kept talking, and it got to the point where I asked her about what she had been doing after our relationship, and asked if she had done things with other guys (yknow "things") and she initially reacted with a no. I quickly said,"yeah, right..." and she responded with a "yeah, youre right, there have been other guys".

Now this is where things got weird, because I reacted, and was extremely pissed off in my dream, I just told her to leave and get out. She started crying and threw herself at me, telling me how she was sorry she had ever done it, and how she shouldnt have.

I just dont get why I have dreams like this, I have one every few months, with changing scenery and conversations, but they always end the same... My personal view is that im still hurt from everything that happened and my lack of trust in her(even though she never cheated or anything... that I know of)... but still idk what to make of it.

TL;DR : I have issues with my ex gf because we had a really awful relationship for the last few months of it

I've been playing a lot of assassins creed, and reading way of the shadows lately, so i have gotten a very "stealth assassin" thing on my mind. It shows in my dreams.

I've dreamt i was a wetboy (term for slightly magically enhanced assassins in the book i'm reading) and i had just stabbed someone with a blade similar to the AC hidden blade, their blood soaked my clothes and there was this very dark moment where i felt as if all their warmth was being soaked up by me as the blood turned the front of my shirt a red so deep it was almost black.

Then the dead persons face became a squid and scuttled off. I blame robert rodreguiz for that one. All his fault.

I had recently taken part in a absolutely harminous match of Zombies in Black Ops. Everything went perfectly, I had a great time with some close friends and it was my first time getting to use the teleporter. One thing that sent chills down my spine was having to monitor the crawlers so my teamates could repair the doors. They followed me,the crawlers, their mouths agape as they reached for me desperately, like I was a saviour and a snack. All the while leaving a sickening trail of blood where ever they went.
A few weeks later I had a dream I was in the steel stairs in same map- Kin Der Toten- and this was all happening first person view with the same art style of Call Of Duty. The cartoon Joker was there with zombie clowns. Oh yes, zombie clowns. He said "Go get em' boys!" In that high pitched laugh, and they chased me. I ran up the stairs when suddenly the floor collapsed, and I was left hanging on the edge. One zombie was holding onto my leg, which I then proceeded to kick desperately. I realized this clown was alive and not a zombie, but I didn't care. I continued to kick him until he fell into the darkness which had consumed the other undead. I pulled myself back up and found a nearby sledgehammer to defend myself. Suddenly, from the entrance of the doors sprang more clowns, and I swung wildly until the floor was red and crumpled with dead-again bodies. Then, somehow, I was in a mine cart, going down a massive dark cavern. It was almost like a zombie themed rollercoaster, with the Joker and his men heckling me as I flew down the track. Then I was out in pure, white light with my sledgehammer, and I walked out the door of a 1940's house similiar the ones in the Fallout 3 black and white simulation quest. Everything was in sepia tone. I ran to the end of the gates and tried to get out, but it was blocked with a invisible wall like the demo limits or a sandbox boarder. Then behind me I saw the woman splicer, only feet away from me. I swung at her with the sledge hammer but it had no affect. She just kept coming. I saw the zombies gather outside of the gate, slowely pushing through. I was getting tired swinging the heavy, unbalanced sledge hammer, and I knew I would die.

Then I woke up.

EDIT: After I review, I realize my grammer sucks, and that weird shit with the lady splicer might be a analogy (or whatever) of how I have problems with the ladies. Also I think the mine cart was because of my addiction to MineCraft...

EDIT: Sorry, just one more, but I think the clown I kicked down was another analogy for a kid I left behind when my "popularity" rose in High School because he wasn't like all the other weirdo's or zombies.

GAH! I wrote a really long text, accidentally closed the tab and nwo it's gone. ARGH.
Okay, again.
Try to analyze this.

I was in a train. It wasn't a normal train, there weren't seats or anything. Also, the wagons were huge from the inside. From the outside, however, the train was normal-sized.
I was in a wagon with a lot of children and (I think, I can't quite remember) a middle-aged man who was (again: I think) a little bit stout/corpulent. Something happened (can't remember what) and two of the children (boy and girl) began to ran away. I somehow knew they weren't allowed to do this. I shot the both of them (don't know which order) dead with a pistol. I know for sure that this was the right thing to do. The other children remained calm and the man (if it was a man to begin with, see above) praised me for shooting them.
Suddenly, I had to go outside the train onto the platform. The whole platform and train station was knid of brown-ish. There was a man in a dark suit (I also think he was bald) wanting to sentence/punish me for shooting those two children. I was scared and suddenly, I was back inside the train in some kind of staircase. There I showed my big brother something I suddenly had: Something ball-shaped that, after dropping it on the floor, ignites and generates all kinds of nice things (toys, sweets, etc.).
I went into a wagon with lots and lots of huge wrapped presents. I accidentally dropped my whole basket of said thingies and was afraid of a potential nice-things-overflow. Luckily, only some small things emerged.
There the dream ends and I wake up.
Oh boy.
