Melody From Heaven, IDK the author but it is the most relaxing song ever.

Xploding Plastix-Dizzy Blonde. It starts out mellow but gets absolutely awesome 1:00 in for no apparent reason. This is a song for the bad days in your life, because when you listen you can't help but feeling happy.

For me, it has to be "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd, that song recently helped me through some emotional troubles, when things got too tense, I just played this song and relaxed. It's calm, almost enchanting and "trippy" in a way.

(I am also aware of Pink Floyds deep lyrics, so no need to bash me for shutting off my brain when I listen to this song, some times, you don't wanna think)
Same here. Pink Floyd's music just kinda has a... mellowing quality to it. Other than that, I'd have to go with some of Led Zeppelin's more relaxed songs. And yeah, I just completely ignore the lyrics too. It's fun.

Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

I'd say that one of the most relaxing songs I've ever heard is "First Breath After Coma" by Explosions In The Sky.

^ Silence Before the Storm (FFX)

I'm not sure which, but one of these are the most relaxing songs I've ever heard.

The Scientist by Coldplay works for me though I've played too much. Otherwise I take Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin (bit obvious, right?)

To sheer me up, which make me relaxed too, I choose "My Old Kentucky Home" by Ry Cooder. That songs lyrics is just hilarious.

Rain in the Ashtray - Mooncake, plus the video is haunting. Not sure if all those poor soldiers died from radiation afterwards or not, but I like to think that the chinese government is just fucked up enough to use them as lab rats.
