I've never played any online game with voice chat on before personally, with the exception of Animal Crossing, and now thanks to this thread I'll know it's something I won't miss.

Who comes up with this crap. HARD scope? Anyone who says this needs a swift kick in the balls(if he has any).

OT: When i did play MW2, at least 4 people on the other team started yelling at me for modding my FAL, in which i actually didn't. Go figure. =/

Too many to list, welcome to online gaming in general.
Microsoft could make a shitload of cash by selling an adult gaming service, with moderated sessions and an age restriction.
I would seriously pay good money to not be called "G" or "Nigga" by some white suburban pre pubescent squeaky voiced gangsta wannabe.
(Tier it by age and leave these douchey little 12 year olds to whine at each other.)

Another WoW story:

Some Alliance player in Dragonblight spent a great deal of time griefing, ganking, camping and acting like an ass. So we brought in a Horde level 80 to deal with him. Our guy managed to repeatedly stay on top of things and absolutely dominated him to the point where the perp made a level 1 Horde alt and started bitching.

Most recently i got accused of hacking and using aimbot in UT3. The enemy couldn't comprehend that i was just good at the game, nor could he accept he was just shit.

He also failed to realise that a headshot from a sniper rifle in UT3 is a one hit kill, unless you have a helmet on that hasn't been damaged yet.

I've also been accused of using an aimbot for using 'shock combos' as well as for one of my rockets hitting the sod perfectly in the chops where he landed after he was bunny hopping about like a rabbit on steroids.

I don't get much grief over XBL, but i don't use the headset or even enable speech unless i have to or i'm playing with friends in party chat. What pisses me off more is being kicked for no reason, though. Whether they're waiting for friends or some other reason, i really hate just being booted without a say. I find this happens often in RE5 and L4D2.

I got yelled at in TF2 when I was playing medic and some dumbass 13-year old who was playing scout kept screaming at me to "make him turn shiny red" or something like that. I assume that he was referring to the Ubercharge, but I wasn't sure that he actually grasped the concept. So, for the hell of it, I actually ubered him, we charged into an area strife with enemy sentries.... and then I stopped ubering him, ubering only myself, and running away while he got totally owned.

A little off topic, but on one TF2 server some Swedish teenager was just repeating into the mic "open door" over and over. It pissed the other team off to the degree that they actually ignored other enemies and just focused on the Swedish kid.

For saving my team mates from being killed, "I could have handled myself" despite him having absoloutly no units left to defend his base. It got even better when he decided to attack my city as a thanks whilst I was away attacking the enemies base...

.... twelve year old kid ... yelled at me called me a cheater and kept saying how much better at the game he was than me when every match I played against him he was always last on his team and I was near the top.
is why i very rarely play online anything anymore... I'd expect that a game rated "M" would be full of people who are mature enough to just play the game and not be an ass.

I was playing BF2142 on one of the titan maps. i was playing as a commander and was trying to get some support on our titan which was getting totally destroyed because there were no one on it trying to help guard, and i got some twat start screaming at me and telling me to "stfu" then he found where i was at on our titan trying to field some sort of defiance and he team killed me, i gave up after that shit

I love playing a Ghost. That is, stealthy, ridiculous damage but very little in the endurance department. I usually die very quickly when spotted. (Modular Combat FTW, try it out [http://www.moddb.com/mods/modular-combat])

The sheer amount of rage and tears I get from particularly bad players is hilarious. I've had the entire server after my blood before, it's so much fun to kill people, right in the middle of the group, and vanish (which isn't really true; I still give out footsteps, and the cloak doesn't hide blood spatters, so... floating patches of blood, obvious much?).

Someone yelled at me in L4D2 because I was hit by a smoker from behind while I was rushing to heal at least one person. Apparently I had the utter gaul to be attacked from behind when no one else was looking back there.

Apparently, simply being good isn't allowed online. I usually play MW2 exclusively when i do play games.

I get bitched at frequently for putting rounds in the faces of every single person who uses a cheap or well known strategy/weapon setup. Noob tubers rage at me when i seem to be able to take cover from their predictable rockets and 'nades, those commando people hate it when i seem to know how to kill them at close range (seems they think that commando = win no matter what), snipers get pissed when i simply walk into their field of view and shoot them or trip their claymores on purpose to draw them out to investigate.

I had one guy call me out for using the same gun the whole match. Fine, so i use another one the next match, pick up someone else's while i run out of ammo, kill him with it, then use his weapon killing him within the next couple of kills. Safe to say he rage quit.

Although there is one dickish thing i do in free-for-all: when in last stand i usually semtex or flash myself to deny who ever shot me the kill. This usually happens after i kill whomever shot me. So i get a kill and deny his point while the whole time he legitimately got me? i admit, thats messed up.

OH NO!

OT: I've been yelled at and been called a cheater for getting a 7 kill streak and a chopper in CoD4 o_O
And I've been yelled at so insanely much for NOT being killed by a noobtube.
And because I reload faster than people without Sleight of Hand.

I can continue all day long.
Sometimes I wish I had a mic for my PS3 so I could troll people. [SUB]Yes, I know that trolling is bad.[/SUB]

There's something wrong with using the scope?
I'm baffled. Just write it off as those kids being pissed off that you killed them.

OT: I got yelled at during a halo 3 match for shooting a guy on a mongoose as he attempted to run me over. The conversation went like this:
Him: FUCK YOU
Me: what?
Him: YOU DONT SHOOT A FUCKING MONGOOSE
The reply is "You don't. I do."

I use it all the time. It works.

Whats the point of scoping in at that point? Seems like it would be more effecient to just shoot unscoped if you already know where the center of your screen is.
Because 13 year olds think its cool and want to show off.
And if you notice in that video, what he's actually doing is exploiting that "Near aim" thing that MW2 has, yknow, where if you scope/aim when your gun is pointed at/near a bad guy you snap to aiming right at them.

Then with a 1 hit kill weapon, you've basically boiled the game down to a reactions test.

Exploits. Gotta love em :p

I got yelled at once for giving locations where the enemy was to a buddy of mine in MW2 HCTDM... you know... playing as a team... in a mode with the word "team" in the title...
