Well, at least she's improved, by quite a bit really. The acting in the video still annoys me to no end, but at least the song is tolerable.

Oh God! Screaming and auto-tune? Thank you for making my ears bleed today.

Anyway, the song's okay. Better then Friday and ten times better then Swagger Jagger.

And here we go again, "Rebecca Black sucks, she should just go away".

Well then stop watching her videos people. The more views she gets, the more famous she becomes, the more money she will attain, and therefore the more songs she will make.

You don't have to listen to her music any way.

What the... Wait... What the... What in the name of the holy fucking lord is that shit? I... Uh... Ummm... What the fuck?

Who gave those talentless kids instruments and recording equipment? Seriously? That was beyond awful. That wouldn't have even made the cut as some half-assed instrumental. I like a lot of things related to metal, but this is just musically retarded.

- Terrible musicianship.

- Horrible vocals.

- No discernible song structure.

I could go on, but I'm just going to sit in a corner and... *vomits*

EDIT*

What the hell is with those god-awful mops on their heads?

I LIKE IT!!

it's mediocre yet incredibly catchy and she's actually a pretty good singer :)
Sorry but no she isn't, she is using Auto-tune, which synthesises her voice. Though this is what a lot of pop artists do so it's not really news.

...And people call me crazy when i say i mostly stick to Video Game soundtracks and some of the more well established artists (Eg. John Williams, Inon Zur and a few other random songs/artists of various genres)

This whole thing reminds me of when Charlie Brooker actually stepped up to defend her, not because he liked it, he hated it, describing it as the first song with less than one note, but accurately making a distinction between 'You can't sing and you have no musical talent, please stop' and 'I hope you die you fat ugly whore'.

Sure she was foolish in asking to make a music video, but she's 13, who of us was making sensible decisions at that point? 'Oh no father, don't buy me that new Super Nintendo system, I'd prefer you to invest the collateral in Apple shares for my future education.'

Then her mother, probably shouldn't have indulged her. However, if she had the disposable income and it's what Rebecca really wanted, there's no real harm, the only harm came from it getting on youtube and then spreading virally by people who hated her, based on a 3 minute fictional clip.

I had no idea she had donated part of the profits of 'Friday' to the Japan Earthquake fund and some to her local school, either, that seemed to get lost in the sheer level of hate, for what is, yes, a bad song, but I doubt you'd need to search youtube for more than about 3 minutes to find something worse, as has been proven in this thread.

What the hell was that 'These Hearts' thing, sounded like a reject from a Burnout soundtrack with death metal growling weakly shoehorned in because they heard it'd make em more 'edgy', doesn't work when you look like an ad for hair gel, guys. 'Design the thingy' sound like 8 terrible bands, all from different genres, all playing at once, with no concept of all matching a beat, and Psysothing just hurt, just a high pitched noise designed to rupture eardrums.

After all that, the 2nd single from Black just came across as 'slightly above average', which sadly, isn't half as interesting as 'Friday's 'car crash godawful', so she's probably going to disappear after this one.

Oh that Brooker clip, it starts a little way in, but was the best I could find, Channel 4 have been stomping around doing takedowns of the material again.

Infinitely better. It's not wonderful pop, but I've certainly heard a lot worse. It's catchy, the video is kind of cute with her mom (presumably?) in the limo, I'd much rather see this kid enjoy popularity than Justin Bieber.
.... as much as it pains me I have to agree.

While both "musicians" have really shitty beats(imo) and horrendous lyrics and even worse performance, at least Black brings something moderatly... unique to the table. Her lyrics are at least not just about "amgz, I love this girl because I saw her for two seconds"-Twilight shit love.

Don't get me wrong, I still think both are absolute fucking shit, but at least I'd rather see the one that does something slightly different get the more fame.

Also have to give her a bit of respect for releasing a new song despite all the truckloads of negative reactions.

I don't know what's worse.

Hearing the same incessant caterwauling again and again, that same fucking repetitious nonsense that makes me want to gouge my ears out with a high powered drill...

...or the piece of pop-culture it's always complaining about.

Look, if you don't like Rebecca Black, great, you have taste in music NOW GO THE FUCK AWAY WITH THIS SHIT.

Rebecca Black is not famous because the music industry foists her own us, she's famous because assholes like you guys keep going "WHAAAA THIS SUCKS" and won't shut up about her or keep linking her video or whatever else. So she has another video, and you're tortured by this? Blame the ones responsible. Blame yourselves.

Here's how to stop Rebecca Black:

Step 1: Don't watch her video
Step 2: Don't send everyone else her video
Step 3: Don't post in a forum about it
Step 4: Go about your life as tho she never was a part of it.

The only people who are bothered by Miss Black are those who PURPOSEFULLY WATCH HER SHIT. That's like gouging out your eye and then complaining that you keep gouging out your eye. It's self-inflicted, you masochistic, whining, self-important asshats.

The cruelest part? She is laughing all the way to the bank, while you keep BRINGING HER UP.
Exactly.

Because she has such a terrible reputation on the internet, everyone will instantly flock to youtube at the slightest mention of her name. Human nature I suppose. People, she is cashing in on the hate, your hate.

Btw, here's a better analogy:

Someone finds a pool filled with some liquid abomination that is offensive to all 5 senses and accidentally falls in and has to swim out. Instead running away to take a 24 hour shower with a cheese grater while trying to forget the experience, the person instead rushes to the nearest available friend and says, "Hey c'mere, this place is totally horrible and disgusting and you have to check it out." The situation then repeats itself and the pool of abomination grows every time someone jumps into it.

I was appalled to discover this song is not nearly as ridiculous as Friday. That's a really, really bad thing. Friday is just about the most ridiculous song ever written, and it is amazing.

Meh her new song is am improvement if only because its not longer saturated in autotune but it basically sounds like another forgetable pop song that'll get remixed and be played in clubs everywhere.

To help your ears recover listen to this if you feel like it:

The only thing we've really learned from Rebecca Black is that if you're rich enough, you too can be a 'musician! Training/talent, pff. She is everything that plagues the music industry right now.

Your post made me realize something...
This girl is the voice of this generation!
In some roundabout, bizarro way, she is the new beatles...

Her voice is still mediocre at best. She probably has rich parents they spend money on these videos.

At least the lyrics are no longer so stupid they hurt my brain. I guess that's an improvement.
