"Fuck me!" Edgar yelled and fired, the explosive shell slammed into Valhenhayn's chest, travelling a few inches in before exploding. He instantly reached for another shell and reloaded, firing this one into it's right thigh.

Valkenhayn continued walking forward, completely unaffected by Edgar's efforts to stop him. "Heheheh, did they not give you silver bullets? Or did they send you to me to die...?" He began to speed up as he headed toward Edgar. "Tick-tock-tick-tock times running out boy! What are you gonna do? Are you gonna run away to your mother? It'd fit you quiet nicely?"

Engineer's voice was heard again. "Do you guys need any help? Do you need me? Its kinda boring out here on my own..."

Edgar bellowed down his mic "Yes we do, this guy's not slowing down!" He then ripped two of the special grenades he'd been given from his belt and threw them and Valkenhayn, exploding at his feet, engulfing him in their toxic cloud.

Through the toxic cloud, Valkenhayn's eyes and fangs glowed brightly. A loud explosion blew the wall of the Castle away and in flew Engineer. "Holy shit! Its..." Valkenhayn looked at him. "I'm gonna fill you with holes!" Engineer shouted as he fired upon Valkenhayn, who was indeed filled with holes yet still unaffected as he began to run towards Edgar, headbutting him in the stomach. He then turned to Engineer and roared, causing him to be pushed back out. The castle then repaired itself.

Alexis had stopped on the stairs when Valkenhayn dropped, not sure if she'd really killed him or not. When he started rising up again, she quickly continued up the stairs to the balcony. She saw crouched as Engineer burst his way into the castle, watching in dismay as even the helicopter's gunfire failed to bring Valkenhayn down. The creature's comments prompted her to remember the silver bullets they'd been given back on the air base. Cursing herself for not thinking of it sooner, she quickly loaded one into her rifle, aimed, and fired again at Valkenhayn's head.

"oh shi- ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!" was all Edgar managed before Valkenhayn slammed into him, the force so strong it lifted him of his feet and threw him into the wall. He sat crumpled for a moment, dazed, before heaving himself up.

This guy isn't going to go down...

Valkenhayn had a moment to react to the bullet and jumped, it his him through the back and left a hole in him the size of a bowling ball. Valkehayn landed and seemed unaffected, then suddenly out of nowhere he began to clap. "Well done! You managed to make me feel pain!" All the holes in him began to repair themselves. "I believe that you will be able to defeat the vampire you were sent to kill, you have passed the test my Mistress has set for you. Congratulations! Now, I am sure you're confused and have many questions for me. I am obliged to answer them for you."

Edgar stood there in disbelief, staring at Valkenhayn.

"I....What the fuck?" was all he could muster.

Fitting another silver bullet to her rifle, Alexis slowly stood, keeping the gun trained on Valkenhayn. While this 'test' seemed par for the course right now, she sure as hell wasn't about to start trusting something that a few seconds ago was ready to tear them all limb from limb. She wondered who the creature's 'Mistress' was, though she felt she could make an educated stab at the answer. She was starting to wonder if she was caught up in some overly rich person's insane fantasy, put together for their own amusement.
"I can think of a few," she said to Valkenhayn, "but most of them come down to 'just what the hell is going on around here?', so I'll go with that. Also, now I think about it, why on earth should we trust some...thing that just tried to kill us?"

"Why should you trust me? Very very good question, young lady. I'll tell you why, its because if I wanted you dead would of I not gone into Beast form and defeated you by now? I didn't even transform partially, I'll have you note. If you don't believe me, ask you friend in the Helicopter. As for your first question, I was sent here by my Mistress who happens to be the twin sister of the one you were sent to kill. She wanted to make sure that you could do what you've been sent to do and if you couldn't I would deal with him." Valkenhayn smiled. "Seems I do not have to deal with him however, this is good news. My Mistress will be pleased to hear that the Hunters have managed to get good recruits, she would also like me to ask you to send her regards to The Dungeon Master."

Soul had been ready to slice through the werewolf's body, but he refrained and managed to bring his sword to a halt. His eyes grew darker red, but he backed away from the lycan. He paid very close attention to what the werewolf said however, noting that he talked about a mistress and a test that she had put them up to.

Keith spat out a tooth that Hellsing had knocked out. He coughed a little and looked at Hellsing. "You almost broke my jaw." he said pointing to his swollen face. "But I understand why you guys would do this. You have to root out the weak and if we were weak we would have died. A little cold, but an effective way of making sure you only have the cream of the crop."

"Exactly! That is what my Mistress and I think anyway, well sort of. My Mistress didn't want another batch of Hunters to die and this isn't the easiest of first jobs." He looked at his pocket watch. "The Vampire you are looking for is located in that room." Valkenhayn pointed at the door where he was standing when Soul had first entered the room. "I suggest you wait for the rest of your companions before continuing however, the battle will be tough. Not as tough as the one you were just in however. I wish you good luck and will leave, if you don't have anymore questions that is. Do you?"

"Do you have some more supplies? Because I used quite a few on you and I would like to go in there with a full arsenal. I would also like to know if we have a dentist back at the base because I would prefer not to look like a Hockeyplayer." Keith asked while pulling an aspirin out of his lab coat. He swallowed the pill as he pulled himself off of the ground. Then he dusted himself off.

"Sorry, I did not bring any supplies with me. As for your other question, I do not work for the Hunters and only occasionally work with them. I know many many things about them and I know the Dungeon Master personally, hell I once changed his nappy. I do not however, know their dental plan. That is something you'll have to find out for yourself. Now, if that's everything I'll be off." Valkenhayn began to walk out the castle. "I will tell Vlad about the reason I was here, so don't worry about that. I'm sure he'll be happy to find out that it was not in aid of his... Mistake of a son."

Andrew watched Hellsing walk away with mixed feelings. He hadn't even been fast enough to contribute at all to the fight that had just occurred and he was quite glad it was over.

Still, though Hellsing said he would answer questions there was no guarantee that he wouldn't answer them incorrectly; intentionally or not. Now Andrew considered himself a pretty good judge of people, but it was hard to get a reading on this guy. Not just because he clearly wasn't human, but he seemed to have a mind quite different from, perhaps even alien from, a normal person. Even in Andrew's wide travels he had yet to meet someone with quite a matching disregard for the seriousness of a fight.

Still, Andrew couldn't let him walk away without any information gained, wary though he would have to be off it. After a moment of thought he decided to be considerate of the present rather then the future. "One quick question, for my peace of mind. Don't suppose you know what..." It was hard to say the next word in all seriousness. "vampires think of religious symbols? Can't necessarily believe everything you read, right?"

Soul managed to sheath his dark black sword with great difficulty, eying the others and waiting as they readied themselves for the next room. He moved over towards the door, and ran his hand along it, eying the door and trying to determine what type of abomination would lie in wait behind the door.

"Vampires, and all other 'Others', are completely unaffected by anything religious. It was a hoax, made up by the church so that more people would join Christianity. I should know, I was there. So no, holding a cross or throwing holy water at a vampire will do absolutely nothing. Except, maybe, force them into hysterics at the futility of the attempt but I wouldn't bet my life on it." Valkenhayn opened the door outside. "Seems you're all ready, just expect that one of you won't come out alive." Valkenhayn stepped outside the castle and seemed to disappear into the shadows.

Keith felt the area where is tooth used to be and sighed. He walked toward the door where the vampire was behind and stared at it. He wondered how strong the creature on the other side would be. Well that holy water recipe is going to go to waste. He put his hand on the door and moved it slowly down to the knob. "Everyone ready?" he asked everyone including himself.

Alexis lowered her rifle as Valkenhayn left the castle.
"Well, I got his mistress wrong," she thought to herself, "but that Keeper woman is bound to be connected somewhere down the line. It'd also be nice if the people we're working for weren't more intent to kill us than our supposed enemies."
She moved across to the other door, the one behind which lay their target. She checked her rifle, then nodded.
"Alright, I'm ready," she said, and then to Keith, "lead on."
