Reboots you actually want?

I'd probably ask for C&C to be rebooted seeing as how the plot is so full of holes you'll spend eternity trying to close all the massive gaps.

That and Resident Evil really needs to drop the "bio terrorism" schtick and go back to being about a faceless powerful corporation and zombies and nothing more beyond that spectrum.

I can't help but shout "Bring it!" whenever I see more and more info on the new Thief game. It's being called a reboot, and I want that game bad. I assume that counts.

Yea, Paradise was a decent driving game just a bad Burnout game.
They are making another one? I thought they just worked on another driving franchise now. I've mentioned it here before but my dream game would be Burnout Revenge Blues Bros Edition: all the Burnout fun with the cars, settings, and music from the Blues Bros movie. Rubber Biscuit should be the theme music for the crash junctions. It wasn't in the movie but I love that song.

They're currently on the Need for Speed franchise. Oddly enough, basically a reboot.

There's been no specific news that they are making a new Burnout, but Criterion did say they would do another. They also said they'd like to do a Road Rash game, if I remember right.

It's possible that it's just PR, but I doubt they're completely done with the franchise.

That would be a shame. I mean, they peaked around Burnout Revenge but that & 3 are probably my 2 fav driving games of all time. I would love to see a comeback.

More games like The Walking Dead and Heavy Rain would be cool, except with better puzzles.

i would really like a reboot of descent, that game was a blast although pretty often id lose track whether or not i was right side up at the time

THIS! Although, do you think they would redesign characters in that case? Because I can not imagine redesigned Raziel.

Also Dino Crisis. I mean come on, we have so much Resident Evils, time to give us more Dino Crisis!

Legacy of Kain definitely needs a reboot. It seems like the writers wrote themselves into a corner anyway.

I'd love to travel Nosgoth as young Kain again.

Even Amy Hennig couldn't fix the narrative mess caused by the Blood Omen 2 team, so a total reboot is the way to go.

How is it that Master of Orion got a sequel and not it's companion game?

And this game had everything. A ridiculous variety of troop types - both magical and mundane, heroes and soldiers who level up, artifact creation, spell research, a dozen different races, a "dark world" accessible via magic gates, tactical combat, city management, and unique wizard creation. And yet, nobody since then has managed to pull it all together into one game again. It's like a cross between Heroes of Might and Magic and Civilization.

You have a point, both F#$% YOU Dante and Uncle Dante unfortunately will never see the LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGT of day again, kind of like Megaman.

So I change mine to Dead Rising.
It needs a reboot, so we can ditch the serious story for an even campier setting, more items to use, and silly balls to the walls protagonists and side characters.
Dead Rising in Disney World, if you catch my drift.
