Reccomend me scary games for my Halloween party!

I'd reccomend Condemned: Criminal Origins. It's scary, bizzare, well made, and it still manages to be really fun.
Or, Silent Hill 2, if you're in the mood to emotionally disturb everyone there.

And Silent Hill 2 if you can find a PC version or have a backwards compatible PS3.

For Half Life mods, Korsakovia and Dear Esther are great. Otherwise, Left 4 Dead, Alan Wake, and, just for trolling, Duke Nukem Forever.

it's a zombie game but scarier than the cavalcade of mediocrity that is survival horror these days.

I honestly didn't expect L4D suggestions. Me and my friends play versus all the time, even some campaign, and its not scary as it is just tense when you're close to the end and low on HP.

Yes Superman 64 is pain. But I didn't find Sonic 06 as bad as Unleashed was. Fuck I hated it.
