Graf Orlock. Went to see them last night, and they're the best film-inspired grindcore band you'll ever hear. Admittedly though, they won't be at your library. http://www.myspace.com/graforlock

Frankly, I'm actually considering buying Dethklok's songs.

But in seriousness, any list I give will naturally include Morrissey and The Smiths, but I have a very eclectic music taste so I'm not sure what else to recommend to you. I'm really into Shai Hulud and Unbroken at the moment, and I'm experiencing a blink-182 revival phase, so I'd probably recommend those as well. I've also always been a big Dropkick Murphys fan, so you could give them a try. Oh, and I love Against Me! but again I don't know where your tastes lie. Bright Eyes and Radiohead are pretty solid as well.

Edit: Damnit you're right...he's gone.

Drum and Bass all the way. You can get some pretty good remixes of rock songs, with DNB beats over them, on you tube. Thats if you like that kinda thing anyway.

Rhapsody is toasty, for really over the top power-symphonic metal.

I also second Opeth.

I'm about 20 minutes away from going to the library; I'm thinking of picking up some music to put onto my computer while I'm there.

Any recommendations? I'm a big rock junkie, but at this point in my life, I'm pretty much open to anything! Just as long as it's good!
MC Hammer can't touch this !

you will laugh and enjoy
