I've just been listening to them for 4 days now and every song on every album ranges from pretty good to fucking awesome. They're easily my second favorite band ever now (Yes, in 4 days).

i have to third/fourth/fifth Opeth. If you are into a bit heavier music, well, heck if you like just plain awesome metal/rock, go with Gojira. For some thrash stuff, aim for Municipal Waste or Gamma Bomb. Alkaline Trio is a really good rock band as well as Bad Religion which you hopefully have heard already. Check out A Day To Remember if you venture into the hardcore-esque scene. Lastly, check out Goldfinger, HORSE the Band and Man Man - yes all of you. Just try it
