It made me sad :( i'd heard good reviews for it, so on my gaming Wednesday i invited my friends over and we played it. in short it was crap! I know I know "how could zapping people into ash not be fun" but after about 10 minutes that gets boring, and then what's left? Shallow moral choices and a cliché story that I expected to find in a 70s comic. When it came down to it the only entertainment was zapping Zeke the Spaz whilst he was talking. Will someone tell me why it's so highly rated?

I liked it, along with lots of people.

Its one of the first good open world games where you play a super hero/villain.

How is that not fun?

You're entitled to your opinion. As are the thousands of others who enjoy it.

Personally I hated the control scheme, and the sticky jumping.

i could get that from prototype and thats without the anyong climbing mechanic, annoying sidekick and more ways to kill people. (that being said, prototype is far from 10/10)

Okay, then play Prototype and stop bitching about how you didn't like Infamous.

I enjoyed it. As I also enjoyed Prototype. But I think that both of them suffered dearly and had the two been mashed together then perhaps it could make a 10/10.

In inFamous I felt that Cole was a tad underpowered, some of the moral choices made no sense and he seemed to stick to everything like he was a living magnet to all. But the powers were pretty cool and the motion comic cut scenes were awesome.

I hated it as well. I was missing some important features. Most of all I would have liked to have seen a lock on system but, like Raigair, I found that it got very boring, very quickly.

If it annoys you that much then just ignore the thread. He was just trying to make conversation and express an opinion, not start a massive argument...

I like the instore demo, and I own a 360. Better than Prototype.
Here I was expecting your "opinions and buttholes" speech.

OT: I don't get why people see fit to make threads about a game they didn't like simply to ask how anyone could like it. Seems kinda.. well actually, it is stupid.
