Yeah I stopped caring even earlier then that to be honest. The entire third season was just so boring. The first will always be my favorite. Myotismon was pretty awesome when he first appeared as flamboyant as he was.
Version 1 was the best by far, on that we can agree.

running anime, you could try otamori himari or the qwser one if you are a pervert. Otherwise go with Baka no test and dance in the vampire bund.

edit: forgot ladies vs butler for perv option, really quite a few perverted animes this season

Just from 2010...
And people are always going to give you the same answers over and over and over and over and over again...
Yay! My one is the first one on there!

OT: I reccomend RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne. I'm loving it right now. Although you want Running anime... so I can't help you.

Calumon: Digimon Digimon Digimon!
Only the first two seasons of digimon were good.
Tamers (3rd series) was the best. After tamers it went downhill.

Calumon: I was in it! ^^

Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Monster, Baccano!, Durarara!! (airing)
More serious and mature stories means more fun.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, a spin-off series starring Misaka, is also currently airing. Maybe you'll like that.

Let's go with a little Hunter x Hunter. Never ceases to be a great anime, no matter how many times I watch it. Couple people already mentioned my precious Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Uresei Yatsura: for insane hijinx and an overwhelming sense of WTF?
City Hunter: the original. Don't accept the modern remake, you need some of this!

Yes finally someone else mentioned Hunter X Hunter! An anime that doesn't piss away your time with fillers and super long tedious fight scenes. It's like the Shawshank Redemption of anime, has a great story with interesting characters and you can come back to it because it's that good.

Actually, the battleship Island part after the third exam was entirely filler, however it was probably one of the best filler I've ever seen done because it blended seamlessly into the story and actually made sense.

I don't count that as filler because it added a lot to the story and was still very entertaining.
