I dunno but Chobits and Appleseed just got votes from my wife. Beware of My (forgot word) Totoro. Was watching that one after a weekend of heavy drug use (just green, nothing hard) and had to seriously wonder if the drugs were still messing with me. I LOVED Spirited away, but then I'm a freak for "everything has a spirit" kind of philosophy. And for my money, any of the Ghost in the Shell episodes or the Movie.

Yeah Death Note is the safe one.
Except it only has 23 good episodes.

Go with Excel Saga or Devil May Cry, although for me nothing really tops FMA.
