recommend any ps3 games?

no jrpgs please or cod.ive had a ps3 for 2 years by now and only have 3 games(my ps2 has like 60 games to it and i only play 10 XD)and i jus wanna see what other people think is a good ps3 game.im definatly buying metal gear solid 4 i jus keep renting it as of late so ya any recommendations?

I know you don't like JRPG's... but have you tried folklore? It really is NOTHING like any other RPG you have ever played.
Failing that, I'd say Lair (with the patch of course), Fracture, Resistance 2, Ghost Recon GRAW 2, Vampires Rain: Altered Species (If you want a REAAAAAALLY hard stealth game), I'd say battlefield bad company, but that might be too similar to COD4 for you.
The new Prince of Persia is also pretty sweet, but it's short.

If you haven't played the first 3 mgs's then don't even touch 4 because the story is basically impenetrable and the editor was in dire need of a machete (and considering Kojima was the editor). The fourth was pretty much Kojima waving his willy around why asking if we had a 'problem' which all the die hard fans immediately reply "nonono, we're fine."

Yeah, being a newbie to the franchise I didn't like it, as for good games, inFamous was effing awesome and the platinum is a fun yet tedious challenge. And it was made by the creators of Sly Cooper which immediately makes it awesome, sly 2 (never played 1, sadly) ranks second on all time favorite game right behind burnout 3 (my parents were pretty strict on the ratings which sucked, especially in the ps2 era.)

Those are just off the top of my head for now.

Umm Infamous (action), Bioshock (fps), Fallout 3 (though it does have an RPG side to it) and Prince of Persia are what I own and love of course.
But the first 3 have Karma system's which I hate (cause I'm an achievement whore)

i like games that i can sit down and have a good long time before i realize i should of been asleep 5 days ago.so basically a game that can challenge me.i dont like rpgs too much but i'l try them

hard stealth game? sounds like my kinda game

everyone slandered it, but I think it's quite decent.
If you can get past the fact that Loyd is David (Snake) mixed with Sam Carpenter, it's quite an enjoyable game.
The plot is decent enough, the graphics aren't crash hot, but the stealth... Oh dear god the stealth..
Don't even try killing enemies unless you're armed with an M16 or a shotgun, they will rip you apart in one go.
If you're spotted, be prepared to start over from a checkpoint. I won't lie to you, this game is hard.

inFamous is the only game I've played on my PS3 recently. Amazing game. You should also pick up Uncharted. And if you're going the FPS way, don't get Resistance 2. Killzone all the way.
