Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The gameplay is pretty damm good as the controls are nicely mapped out and the game flows very well. But its hard, my god is it hard. You will die over and over again if you dont do things properly.
This would be unreal tournament 3 yes? Any balance issues-and can you still get a decent connection online with it(i.e, do many people still play it?)godzilla494 said:Try unreal tournament it's pretty good.
Considering this just for the co-op. Is the co-op any good, and is it replayable?Mr_spamamam said:Rainbow Six Vegas 2. People are still playing it, and connection isn't as bad as say, trying to find a decent american L4D2 server.Yagharek said:This would be unreal tournament 3 yes? Yeah, I am also surprised no one except you and I said it, its one of the most popular games on the 360.Steambroom said:With risking a flamewar;
Why not Halo?
Alot of people still play it and its on the most balenced multiplayers out there.
Not heard much about Halo that I think is that great. Seen a lot of people complain about it. Are there balance issues? I've heard people say you have too much health-does it take a long time to kill?Shock and Awe said:All of the Halo FPSs are great, you also would probably like Half Life 2 as well.
Lots of TF2 recommendations. The Orange box also seems quite cheap.Scrumpmonkey said:Unreal tonament 2004 is still an amazing onl9ine multiplayer. But i think you would really enjoy a good bout of TF2.
I've heard about singularity. Will wait a while before I buy though, since i've not heard much about the multiplayer yet. It's new, so more expensive than older games, and there are plenty of older games I can get if I need something single player.Ricotez said:Well, there's Prey and Singularity. Both have a multiplayer mode, though I've played neither. I can recommend both for their single-player modes however:
Prey has this really cool portal game mechanic, very good puzzles and very interesting weapons (one weapon, for example, must be charged with special energy outlets you find throughout the levels; if the weapon is empty, you need to find another energy outlet, and different outlets charge the weapon with different kinds of energy, which all work in a different way).
Singularity is a very new game with an interesting (albeit somewhat weird) time-travel storyline and cool time-manipulation features (although they're a bit limited; it's actually mostly restoring collapsed stairs to a time when they were still in one piece, and there are a few cool scenes where you have to 'rewind' huge objects, such as a bridge and a sunken ship). Although I don't know about the availability of Prey (partially because it dates from 2006), Singularity is available on both PC and consoles, and because it only came out recently it shouldn't be too hard to find.
If you are specifically looking for a multi-player game... Well, the only multiplayer shooter I play on a regular basis and that's also available on console is Team Fortress 2.
90% of the people on this site who complain about Halo have either never played it, only played one level and based the entire series' quality on it, or have only played Halo 1 and just blindly say "they're all the same."Yagharek said:Not heard much about Halo that I think is that great. Got an Xbox and recently picked up a PS3 to play with my RL friends, who mainly are on PS3.Aura Guardian said:Halo 3 is very balanced. And since you CANNOT play PC games. Play Halo 3 or TF2 Xbox verison...Wait...what system do you own?
In Halo 3 you are given a shield that recharges much like CoD4's health, the only difference is that it is much stronger, and there is some health after that, so it does take significantly more time to kill, making consistently good aim much more important. I can't really describe it well, I suggest just watching this,Yagharek said:Not heard much about Halo that I think is that great. Seen a lot of people complain about it. Are there balance issues?
