You're completely missing the context of the post. The OP wants something to do. I repeat, something to DO. Watching TV barely qualifies as "something to do", it's just sitting on your ass watching TV. Heaven forbid I suggest that someone actually get out of the house instead of wasting time watching a bunch of cartoons.

Because a previous poster mentined anime. If they mentioned sitcoms I would have said "you could do better than sitcoms". But they mentioned anime so I said "you can do better than anime".
