For fun? Learn to solve a Rubik's cube, try Dan Harris's site. It makes for a cool party trick.

I don't own a Rubik's Cube

There aren't that much and are available at pretty much every big box store (Walmart Target, etc..) Seriously, it makes for a fun and cheap hobby. There are even sizable online communities dedicated to twisty puzzles, and competitions for who can solve it the fastest (record is around 7 seconds at a competition).

I'm not bashing anime as such, I'm suggesting to the OP that maybe watching cartoons on TV is possibly not the best possible use of his time if he's keen for something new and interesting to do.
