I'm going to second No More Heroes. You have to approach it with the right mindset to enjoy it, though. First time I played it, I hated it so much I returned it the same day I picked it up. A year later, I tried it again and ended up loving it.
On Red Steel 2, I'd recommend avoiding it. If you have the option of renting it or buying it for $10 or less, go for it, but failing that, just stay away from it. Its gameplay is interesting, but nearly everything else about it ranges in quality from uninspired to goddamn stupid, and even the gameplay stops being fun after a while.
