Recommended hard games?

I'm getting into the genre of games that are insanely tough to beat. I'm thinking about DMC3, and am currently playing the original Castlevania. But what would you recommend as a fun and generally frustrating game? (And don't mention Battletoads, I know how hard it is, and I'm not that good)

I don't find DMC3 hard >.> I would say, if you want really hard games, try Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero (If you have a PSP) or Ghosts and Goblins.

The first FarCry on Realistic mode, it's almost unplayable it so damn realistic. Hence the difficulty name I guess.

I hate you. I beat "Raining Blood" just to see if I finally could.

Please don't tell me you beat "Through the Fire and Flames"? If so, I recommend CoD:WaW on Veteran.

Nope, didn't finish that song, that song is only beaten by GH lunatics. But I don't count it as a part of beating the game, as it is only a bonus song.

It's free, a nice amalgamation of almost every classic game across multiple platforms, and it's probably the most difficult game I've ever played. If you start playing and get overly frustrated and can't see how it relates to other games, hop on YouTube and look for videos of it... People on there managed to get so much farther than I did.
