Guitar Hero 3 on Expert. Hope you like hearing the crowd boo, because you'll hear a lot of it.
Already finished it. ;)
I hate you. I beat "Raining Blood" just to see if I finally could.

Please don't tell me you beat "Through the Fire and Flames"? If so, I recommend CoD:WaW on Veteran.
Nope, didn't finish that song, that song is only beaten by GH lunatics. But I don't count it as a part of beating the game, as it is only a bonus song.
Good, you're not that insane than. The achievements in III were insane.
lol I did TTFAF the other day and Raining Blood is the only song I have to 5* on Expert, I also only play CoD's on veteran. People need to toughen up these days/

DMC3 and Viewtiful Joe? Piss off they are easy
DMC4 get pretty damn hard on the last few difficulties
Ninja Gaiden of course

I have a mate who is really good at DMC and also managed to get to 2nd in the world on XBLA for Castlevania SOTN.
I also know a random Japanese guy who's got all the achievements and trophies for DMC4, why the hell would you do it twice???

DMC3:The original or the Special edition? The game was re-realeased with a lesser difficulty.

I played the original and I found it to be extremely easy. I suggest playing the original Ninja Gaiden games. They are a *****, enemies keep coming the fuck back, just try to not lose your temper. Though thats going to be impossible in level 3...

Google I Wanna Be the Guy, it's free and very challenging.
This. This game is incredibly hard, and I've spent so long trying to beat it.

Hinterland, it's hard but not too hard, at least on Hardcore difficulty. It's a combination of city-building and hack and slash. Hardcore means Death = Game Over. It can be pretty damn hard when your town has a grand 3 level 1 farmers, and you are facing a force of raiders consisting of 4 trolls, 2 of which are level 2, and the other 2 of which are level 3.

It's not claw-your-eyes out hard though. I once almost completed it and died 'cause I was paying too much attention to my party's HP, and not enough to my own.

Megaman 9.
He said hard not impossible. I hate Megaman so very much.

I recommend trying Guitar Hero: Metallica on Expert. A lot of the songs on there are a massive ramp up of difficulty from everything on World Tour.

Also try and do Resident Evil 1 on top difficulty without a guide. You will be on with that for quite a while.

Final Fantasy IV (DS) - Not the most difficult RPG in the world, but tough enough to provide a steady challenge without making you want to destroy your DS.

Mega Man 9 - Like others have said, this game can be pretty brutal if you're not patient. After awhile, you'll start to realize that it's not so much an action platformer as it is a complex game of pattern recognition and memorization.

Punch Out!!, Super Punch Out!! and Punch Out!! (Wii) - All in the same spot because they're more or less the same game, just one different systems and with slightly different opponents. Like Mega Man, it's not about fighting as much as it is recognizing patterns and getting the timing down. I'll be honest, this game can get extremely frustrating when you get up to the higher ranking fighters, but it's also extremely satisfying when you finally win.

I started out on the SE, but I managed to get my hands on an original edition and I had spent so much time with the SE that the regular edition was only marginally harder.
