Red-box giving the finger to 360 fans with only half of Max-Payne 3.

If your a redbox movie rental user, don't rent Max Payne 3 for xbox 360 your getting half the game. Since the game is 2 disks for the 360 redbox decided one was enough, meaning that you will only get half the single player and all the multi-player.

Luckily ps3 comes on one disk so they get the whole package, but still with no warning for the 360 users this is still a kick in the face for us.

It bugs me a whole lot worse simply because I also have a ps3 but I got the 360 version because it was the only one available, now I got half a game finished and I don't want to start over on my ps3. Truly a dick move by redbox.

Honestly, this doesn't sound nefarious. It's seems more like an oversight than anything else. If enough people make a fuss, it might be they'll be able to correct, but the best thing to do might be to just not offer MP3 on 360 at all.

OT: That's sad, even though it's an avoidable issue. The least they could do is let you rent both discs and let one come with a discounted price.

It also says that Red Box very clearly says that it's only the first disc, so the fault is on the renters for ignoring this fact. With some fault for HD-DVD for not providing the storage space of Blu Ray and having MP3 be 2 discs for the 360 and only 1 for the PS3.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but you don know that the Xbox doesn't used HD-DVDs for games, right? I just want to be sure that I'm not misinterpreting your last comment there, because that's actually pretty funny.

Also, OP, it says it clearly states that it's only one disc that you're getting, so, if anything, it sounds like you weren't paying attention.

Yes, one should expect to be fucked over wherever being fucked over is possible. This leads to you being pleasantly surprised whenever you don't get fucked over, and much more weary of being fucked over otherwise.

So if you ever go to rent a movie, you actually expect to only get half of it? Nice attitude btw, your life must be wonderful and happy and so on...

If the movie has multiple disks and the place I'm renting it from only rents one disk at a time (and is automated) then yeah, I would expect to only get one disk.

And yes, my life is rather lovely what with me never getting fucked over and all.
