I'll say it again in the RDR threads. I hate it
Reasons being? I don't mind if you hate, just apply good reasons as to why you do.
Didn't like the online. Need friends and even with it, got boring. The campaign was decent but some missions annoyed me. Good thing I didn't buy it. I prefer GTA4 over RDR

It's driving me insane. The God's are conspiring against me so that I will not get this game. I went to three fucking Blockbuster's to get it. First one, Sold out. Second one was Closed. Third one I come to find out that you have to be 18 to make a blockbuster account.
Wait, it's an "M" rated game, you would need to be 18 to buy it (legally). So, why shop around when you can't buy/rent it anyways? I don't understand.
I am not sure where you live exactly, but in the states the age limit is only up to 17 on M rated games, instead of 18 like Europe I believe.

I'm torn on my answer to this question. I eagerly anticipated RDR, and bought it the day it was released. When I bought it my interest was primarily in the Free Roam, because I have tons of people on my friends list, and I wanted something to replace Borderlands (which is stale now, and will be until a new DLC) to play with a certain sub-group of my friends list.

I thoroughly enjoyed Free Roam for the first 25 or so levels, but at level 46 now I'm finding that I'm having trouble staying interested. In order to level I either have to replay the same gang hideouts over and over again, or I have to pwn at the competitive modes (Bag games and whatnot), but I really dislike the competitive modes. Fortunately, I have people on my friends list who are just now picking up the game, so helping them complete their challenges (all my Free Roam challenges are done) gives me something to do.

I like RDR in theory, but feel like actuality needs more meat. I would LOVE for Free Roam to contain some of the same components as the single player, particularly the mini-games. ESPECIALLY poker. I could spend an entire evening with my RDR posse playing Texas Holdem. I would also love to have something to spend $ on. Why should I hunt once my challenges are complete? If I could skin the animals and sell the skins and have something (just game bling would be fine) to spend that money on, then that would be one more thing to add depth to Free Roam.

Really? Huh, they never let me buy "M" rated games at 17. Probably a local law or something. I dunno, I lived in KY, USA at the time.

Plus Jack is a tosser compared to his old man.
Quoted for truth! After so long you just get used to the scruffy harsh voice of John Marston. And now we get this piping voice???

I loved it. And I won't spoil anything for anyone even though I want to.

It's not illegal to buy M rated games, stores just won't do it. California is trying to illegalize it though, but that's another topic. btw the noobs I was talking about are the people who get a posse just to spawn kill 1 person non-stop.
