In general I have issues with games that include such heavy Communist undertones.
I won't go on a huge rant about it, but I will say that Communism is a system that sounds great on the surface but tends not to pan out very well in the long run. It's simply seductive to people who are at the bottom of a non-communist system. Various communist revolutions in places like Russia and China for "the workers" ended with those same supporters at the bottom and an even more corrupt and messed up regime in charge, whose first order of business was to do whatever it took to prevent the same things from happening to them (terrors behind the Iron Curtain, and China's current anti-democracy crackdowns).
I understand the theme of striking against a corperation for the benefit of the people, making a strong anti-capitolist, pro-communist sentiment. I can even understand how things make sense in the context of the game. But the way it goes about these things doesn't really show the true face of communism and where it ends up.
I enjoy Saint's Row (and understand some of the connections), but in general "Red Faction" is a game I generally can't condone, and honestly I'm pretty open minded to political themes, even those I disagree with (like with say Bioshock, or the satirical roguelike "Liberal Crime Squad").
